Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit

we just stayed at this resort location for the 2nd time. We had stayed previously at the grand velas in Playa Del Carmen, even that resort is just as beautiful, it is more spread out. We love that at this location there is only one building and everything is easily accessible. We enjoyed the resort grounds, the delicious food throughout the resort, and the friendliness of the staff. Just an FYI, the deserts are super delicious . 
When we choose an all inclusive resort, the food is very important to us and at the grand velas the food has been very delicious. There is options for everyone. I would like to highlight a few of staff members who just made our stay a little more enjoyable. We were very fortunate to have Dulce our concierge attend to us again. I got in touch with her before our arrival and she made sure all our needs will be met as we arrive. When she found out that it was my son’s birthday, she decorated his him with balloons, a happy birthday banner, a cake, confetti on the table and a personalized card. That was such a nice and appropriated surprise. We had her as our concierge also last time and we were very happy with her already then. She truly made our stay special. She took care of all our restaurant reservations and anything we needed at all times. Dulce is simply the best. Carlos by the beach activities has also been an amazing person at the resort, he is always greeting us with his friendly smile and personality and thought my son how to surf and took him out to the ocean on the boogie boards that the resort provides. Spider the magician is absolutely amazing. He roams the restaurants in the evening and entertains guests with his great card tricks. Gustavo by the pool has been very attentive as well and always making sure we are well taken care of with drinks and food, even with food that was not on the menu. A little tip, if you have any food restrictions, talk to your concierge and the chef and they will take good care of you.

Everything about our trip was amazing. Getting off the bus we fell into paradise. Food was amazing at all restaurants. Wait staff was most friendly. Rooms spacious and spotless. Luis Mateo was the sweetest most amazing host we have ever had. He went out of his way to accommodate us. Made our reservations at the restaurants and checked to see how we liked them. Sweetest man ever. Can’t wait to go back and relax with this resort. Many thanks to all for making our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Thank you again Mr. Luis Mateo. Sending our love from East Texas.

This is our third time going in a row and I have to honestly say every time we go we're more and more impressed by the hotel, the staff the food and our stay. The kids love going to the beach and to the pool, their kids club is a lot of fun as well amongst other things and we wanted to just send a special thank you to Chef Raul for always going out of his way to make sure we are comfortable with our dietary needs and taken care of. His food is so delicious and It's really appreciated!!! Chef thank you again! Also special shout out to Gustavo Nieves and Diego Hernandez who were so helpful at the pool everyday and who gave us VIP service for all of our food and drink orders. Highly recommend this place for all of our family and friends we will be coming back again g-d willing 😀

Great stay, Great food and Great staff. Weather was in the upper 70-s to low 80's it was just perfect. About a 20 minute ride to the airport but a great spot. Restaurants were wonderful and the rooms were very clean and kept that way the week we were there

The service and amenities here are second to none, and there's a reason they're the highest rated resort in the area. We had our wedding here in September 2024, and we could not have imagined a better wedding. From the moment we arrived, the staff took amazing care of us and our guests, and you will also have a private concierge to help you with anything you need during your stay. They can help book reservations for you (dinner, spa, golf, etc) and also provide you with daily resort activity information during your stay. The food and drinks are the best, and you will not be disappointed if you choose to spend your holiday here. Also our wedding coordinators, Leti and Fernanda were the most amazing people we could've worked with while planning our destination wedding here, so if you're thinking about having your special day at Grand Velas, I would HIGHLY recommend!
