Hotel is spread over 2 locations. No information provided on where restaurants or pools etc were. The reception is a building site. The food is awful in every restaurant, nothing about it is premium. Some of the food is inedible. One of the restaurants you have to use a phone torch to even read the menu as no lighting. Room service you have to ring 5/6 times to get through. Then tell you it will be 30 minutes for food and it’s well over an hour. Key cards never work. WiFi never works in the room. Every pool has music blaring, there is no quiet spaces. Some pools have a speaker playing with a band even playing over the top. Spirits in the room are not premium. The late night restaurant staff didn’t turn up on time and then you wait 30 minutes and still don’t have your order taken. You’re told ‘you’ll have to wait until someone turns up’ Definitely not a 5 star resort

Great vacation! this was our first time in Sandals Ochi on the riviera side. We are beach lovers so this was the side for us. Beach is clean and well kept, not too big but never felt crowded and never had an issue getting chairs. We also do the gym in the morning, and as the rest of the resort is also clean with plenty of equipment and plenty of classes for our fitness. The food was very good in all the restaurants we visited (only had enough time for 9), the staff is amazing, very friendly and truly tried to accommodate any palate. We had the fortune of being helped by many wonderful staff, so if you see a young woman named Latoya say hi to her, she is very shy but always smiling, we met her at mariners and Sky restaurants; we also met LaDonna at tapas and sky restaurant, hard worming and friendly. Percival who we met at sky restaurant as well, made our dinner a pleasant and delicious experience (surf and turf daily) for my husband. We also met Allet at the La Guermand french restaurant (oh the hill side), he was very helpul and friendly as well. The resort also has photographers all around to do the photo shoots, we did not have a booking but Nardo was more than happy to take our pictures and meet with us when we asked him. If you like excursions, we suggest the catamaran to Dunns falls, which was just a fantastic adventure. We do not climb rocks (wet ones), so we thought for sure we just hang around and wait for the other guests to come back. We had a crew member named Damar who just swept us up and gave us a tour up the hill (easy walk) with much information about the history of the country. We have been blessed to be able to visit sandals resorts, different ones and have never been disappointed. tom and yaira.

We stayed for our honeymoon, paying just over £6,000 with high expectations for a luxurious and memorable experience. Unfortunately, while we created some beautiful memories, the overall experience didn’t live up to what we had hoped for. Our journey to the resort was long, taking nearly 17 hours of travel followed by a 3-hour coach transfer. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted with a cold towel and a rum punch. However, the check-in process was frustratingly slow. Despite being told our butler would arrive shortly, we ended up waiting over an hour and a half before we finally asked to be taken to our room without them. Our hillside room itself was modern, clean, and comfortable, aside from a broken bed, which was promptly fixed the following day. While we were satisfied with the room, we did hear from other guests that the rooms on the beachside were dated. During our stay, we were surprised to find that there was no pool or beachside food and drink service. We had expected this at a 5-star resort, especially given the premium price. The main pool was pleasant, and we were able to find sunbeds without much trouble, though the canopy beds came at an extra cost of $65 per day. It would have been a nice touch if each guest had an allocated day to use them as they were not used! The beach was lovely, but it was challenging to find sunbeds with shade, and there were no parasols available for those in the sun. Our butlers seemed to be juggling multiple couples at once. They were friendly and tried their best, making dinner reservations for our first few nights and arranging transport to the restaurants. However, the butler phone was unreliable, often not working or running out of battery, which made it difficult to reach them when needed. On one occasion, we requested food by the pool after seeing other guests being served, but after an hour and a half of waiting, we gave up and opted to eat at a restaurant instead. It felt like the butlers were stretched too thin to provide the level of service promised. One of the highlights of our stay was the Rabbit Hole, a speakeasy bar with excellent entertainment and fantastic bar staff who quickly remembered our favorite drinks. The biggest DISAPPOINTMENT was the food. As food enthusiasts, we were excited to try all the different restaurants, but we were let down by the lack of flavor and quality. Most dishes were bland and overcooked!

We had such a fun and amazing time in Sandals Ochi! We went with friends and made new friends. We went on a sunset catamaran cruise and the staff on the boat was amazing! We loved the beach front pool and entertainment. The food was good. Our favorite places were the the jerk shack, rabbit hole, the reef, and Kimonos. Shout out to Dave and shevaughn and Lamar made the pool bar so great! Jovan was so helpful all the time! Romario N always had a smile on his face. Romario and Panda who did entertainment were so awesome! We love this place and hope to be back someday.

This was our first all inclusive to Jamaica with Sandals. I would have to share, my husband and I had the best week! The food was excellent and we tried all but a couple places. The Sandals staff was friendly and very helpful and dedicated to their jobs! I would like to mention a few Special people that stood out and added to make our trip Amazing, Deashane, Jade “The Saxophonist “, Greg and Carl - “Speed boat encounter to Dunns falls, Margaritaville, and snorkeling”. Our room was perfect and stocked with alot of beverages, cleaned and just made our stay feel like home away from home! Thank you Sandals and all the staff for making our honeymoon a week to remember!! Yea Mon !!
