Would like to give a big thanks to staff members: William the Sommelier, Amndo in preferred club, Franando El patio, Eceil UVC lounge, Bradly at preferred breakfast. I can't remember every ones name. However, every staff deserves recognition for their hard work. Dreams Aventuras is a great resort. Thank for always making us feel like family. See u all soon. Thank you!

The employees are very friendly, my favorite was Itzarossa who talks to everyone and remembers all their names. Alfredo helped us learn Spanish too. Great people all around. The restaurants were good, I never had one bad meal, and the rooms were always clean

The bed was so comfy. The rooms were nice and roomy, and clean and the staff did a great job keeping our rooms clean. The staff was always friendly and catered to our every need. The food and restaurants had a great variety to satisfy all our appetites. We had a great experience. Would definitely recommend this resort.

This was only our second trip to Mexico. We landed in Cancun and it is about an hours drive to the hotel. Once we arrived at the hotel, we were whisked to another floor to have our check in done. We have never had this before. Our luggage was left with the bell boy (freaked me out a little, again, never have had this service before!) We were shown to a little waiting room while we waited that had food and drinks. Someone from the concierge team came down, took our passports and checked us in! We then went down to our rooms and our bags were brought there. We had booked a king room with a swim out pool. I really enjoyed this feature. After we were done at the beach, we could sit in the pool (was heated) at night before bed, was nice to have a little swim as well. During the day there was someone who would go around to see if you wanted a drink! The beach was ok. Sand very hard. Water was warm, as they have a wall to block the waves so creates a small inlet. If they didn't have that, would not be able to swim very well there. We didn't find any issues with the food. We are not fussy, and do understand that the food options may not be what we are use to, but there was always lots. Morning at the buffet, always lots of eggs and bacon, and fresh fruit. For lunch, there was the buffet or for preferred club you could go to the Ocean restaurant. They also have a little bbq place on the beach that has hot dogs, hamburgers, nachos and wood oven pizza. Dinners for us was a new adventure! No buffet. They have 5 restaurants to choose from, no reservations required. They are not all open, but when you download the Hyatt app, and pick your hotel, they will tell you what is open. As well all the menus are here, and they usually prefer you use that. I really enjoyed Gohan, the sushi was great! Ocean was also very good. There is a little shopping plaza near by that we wandered off to a couple of times for dinner as well. The area is in a gated community, and is safe. I would suggest paying in pesos vs US dollars as they are very loose with the exchange rate. We found things very clean. Our room, always clean, fresh towels, face cloths, lots of water, and fridge stocked. We did the deep sea fishing, booked with hotel, (but might be cheaper if you wander off to the marina in town) went to Tulum and snorkeling as well did the sunset catamaran, which was beautiful. The hotel staff were amazing. Any questions or concerns that we had were dealt with or answered quickly. The one thing that was odd for us, there were no travel reps here. We went with Westjet, Nexxus took us to the hotel and then that was it. Nexxus informed us through their app when they would be picking us up for our return to the airport, so make sure to download their app because I almost didn't!

This was our first resort family vacation and we’re all hooked! The premises are kept clean and it was small enough that it did not feel overwhelming. We were Preferred Club and there were enough food and drink options to keep all of us satisfied during our stay (we had one picky eater, so this is always a challenge). There were always activities or events happening so no one was ever bored. It is certainly a family-oriented resort, so if you’re looking for more of a party or romantic vibe, it’s probably not the resort for you. The town of Puerto Aventuras is very walkable and it’s worth it to see the dolphins, sea loin and manatees in the marina. The true gem of this resort though is the staff. The level of hospitality they give their guests goes unmatched and it was a shame whenever we saw other guests not be respectful to them. These people work hard to make sure every guest has their needs met. A special shout out to Jose and Ronier as they were especially lovely staff. We hope to be back in the future!
