Miraval Arizona

This was my fourth visit to Miraval Resort and Spa, and once again, it did not disappoint. Each time I come, I leave feeling rejuvenated, inspired, and equipped with new healthy habits to implement in my daily life. Miraval is truly a sanctuary for the mind, body, and spirit, offering the perfect balance of relaxation and personal growth. What continues to impress me the most is the genuine care and attention from every single staff member. They are consistently kind, helpful, and go above and beyond to ensure every guest has an unforgettable experience. Whether it was a smile in passing, helpful tips during a workshop or service, or a thoughtful recommendation for my day, the staff creates an environment where you feel truly seen and supported. The variety of wellness programs, from yoga and meditation to outdoor adventures and spa treatments, are top-notch. I always leave with a deeper sense of well-being and practical tools to continue my journey toward health. Miraval has a unique way of making you feel like you’ve hit the reset button, both physically and mentally, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit. My husband and I came here to celebrate our 15 year anniversary. It was our first time in 12 years without the kids. We booked a 2 night stay. Bummer it took us a whole day of travel and barely made it in Time for dinner the first night. Second day was supposed to be our whole day couples day and I wanted to look pretty for our dinner that night So I booked a 90 minute session at the salon for highlights. Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience at the salon that took away a big part of our quality time. I am Asian and have overall dark hair with very thin highlights. Asked her to touch up so it could blend and keeping the overall hair dark with some very thin subtle highlights. 2 hrs later she turned my hair completely blonde on the crown and my bottom hair dark! It was terrifying. I thought Miraval had experienced top-notch providers. It definitely was not the case at the Salon. I told her it really is not me and would prefer it darker. She put together some dark dye quickly and proceeded to paint brush dark dye to cover up the blond and sent me outside the waiting area since she said she was late for her next client. I was basically pushed out of my chair and had to wait in the waiting area with my embarrassing head of blonde hair that looked over processed and dye haphazardly painted on. It was humiliating! Her colleague came and told her she really should re-foil some lowlights to make it look even. Which she took me back to quickly do. Then sent me back to the waiting area as she worked on her next client. I was waiting pretty long and proceeded to ask the receptionist if someone else can wash out my hair as I worry it will further damage my hair. They told me that they only had one wash bowl and it’s in the room that my stylist is in with her client. As I was about to just go in the shower to wash out the chemicals, the stylist came. My hair is completely damaged and very much blonde! She covered only a few stands darker. It was terrible but I needed to get back to my husband as by this time, I spent half a day there already. I just threw a hat on the entire time . My hair is still blonde on the top and very much damaged. It is costing me a lot more to fix it not to mention the damage! Tried to call the manager but it didn’t seem like he was eager to get back to me. I am so disappointed with this resort. The instructors for the classes are top notch just stay CLEAR of the salon!!

Everything about Miraval is amazing. From the views, the rooms, the amenities, the classes offered and the staff. Please go out of your comfort zone and do some of the mindful/wellness experiences. It may just change your outlook on life for the better!

Miraval is heaven on earth, truly a one of a kind experience, there is absolutely magic on the property! The food, the spa, the challenge course, and my personal favorite is the fitness center, they have everything to offer to reconnect with yourself.

This place is a magical experience if you're lucky enough to be there the right time of year. You experience warm days in chilly evenings under the starry nights, the staff is amazing. The food is great. The beds are comfortable.I feel peaceful and I'd like to return.
