Only go to Dreams if you are being dragged or there is nothing else is available. Even then, make sure you prepare for disappointment after disappointment. My honest opinion is that Dreams is only after your money. And even when they have it - you are treated like you spent nothing.

The pools and beach were great, the food was as expected and comparable to most all inclusive resorts, the service was quick and friendly. Over all we really enjoyed our stay. Lots to do with kids/family but also lost of fun for adults in the evenings for a date night or partying

This is a beautiful resort! The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Though we tipped generously it was not expected. If you get an ocean front room in front of the pool be prepared as the music and activities are very loud until about 11. The food was all very good and I can’t say enough about all the staff. Rooms could use a little sprucing up but nothing that caused problems. Room service was prompt and very accommodating! This is a property designed for families so he aware of that if you choose to visit.

Room range in quality. Ours was good, but others not so much. Many are missing fairly basic amenities although, if you point it out, they'll fix it. Much of the food appears to be made intentionally bland to appeal to what they think is their target audience. Its a shame as the few times actual flavour snuck in, it was pretty good. They do seem concerned about Gluten issues and other dietary matters and appear to take precautions to ensure they get things right. The biggest disappointment is the beach. While superficially very nice, there is only a small sliver of the area in which you can swim without being bashed against rocks or coral. They do mark it off but I believe their markings are far more generous than reality would suggest (as my injuries in the so-called swimming area would attest) The staff work hard adn, almost to a person, try very hard to keep the visitors happy. The grounds themselves are lovely and the maintenance staff work hard to keep it that way. As well (and this would be good or bad depending on your proclivities), the constant banging of mediocre music at the pool is irritating. Every so often it would be nice to NOT have music blaring to convince us we are having a good time. Its also worth noting that, at least when we were there, there are constant events (weddings, conventions, etc.) which means that large portions of the beach and or otherwise will be off limits to you for hours at a time. Perhaps not a deal breaker, but it is is irritating that you often have access to only part of the resort. So, overall, a superficially very nice place, but with too many issues to be recommended.

We had a great visit at Dreams. The staff make it special, especially the entertainment team including Erick and Alex who were really fun and welcoming. The resort itself is fine although some parts are looking a bit dated so it could do with a bit of a refresh. However overall the whole trip represented good value for money. A very nice stay.
