The Oberoi Amarvilas, Agra

Lucky to be at this venue! Sunny und misty Taj Mahal experience will last for ever. Taj in sight out of the window - woow! Festival activities did not harm our stay in any way. Our remarks regarding of noiseness in restaurant was well received and noted. We really like the Oberoi Style!

True princess treatment. The best hotel with a view if the Taj. Service is beyond expectation. Breakfast buffet is also the best i’ve had in the world. They will make anything you request for. Being a foreigner asking for pork dish (bacon) and coconut water was served and granted by the kitchen. They also have the best bar menu. I tried indian summer. Very refreshing and unique taste. Thank you Oberoi!

We loved staying here and in retrospect wish it could have been two nights instead of only one! The greeting from the staff upon arrival was regal and much appreciated; I have never experienced anything like this before. The rooms are gorgeous, the outdoor heated pool was amazing, and the dinner with live music was superb. The hotel kindly arranged for a private guide to take us over to the Taj Mahal in the complimentary hotel golf cart. He knew the best places to take photos there. We were thrilled that we could leave our shoes ( a bit dirty after traipsing around the streets of Varanasi) outside the room to be cleaned at night and they were like new the next morning! Even at departure the staff made us feel like honored guests. Because they have a policy of not tipping to individuals, but leaving an envelope at registration to be shared by everyone, the entire staff works hard to go above and beyond. There was an ATM in the hotel and someone accompanied us to find it and make sure we could operate it successfully. The grounds are beautiful and sitting on the balcony of the room, gazing at the Taj Mahal in the far distance, was a dream come true! We had planned to tour the Taj early in the morning, but in January there is a lot of fog in the mornings, so you couldn't see it from the room, and we didn't really need to leave until 10 am.

Possibly the most underrated hotel in the group. The buildings, the gardens, the grounds and the pool are superb. The rooms are fantastic, first class linen, wonderful comfortable beds. And then the staff, as always in the Oberoi group they are top drawer, and nothing is too much. If you have time to eat, then that is joy. Excellent.

Outstanding location and views of Taj Mahal. impeccable service throughout hotel from arrival to check out and most attentive staff anywhere with the greatest attention to detail!! Excellent amenities. Our guide Sandeep was incredibly kind , gracious and most professional and knowledgeable guide we have experienced anywhere. A true gem in making your Taj experience the most memorable!
