Exceptional stay at El Pescador
We returned to El Pescador to a warm welcome by the staff who once again embraced us as family. The staff delivers unsurpassed customer service with genuine kindness and warmth. The rooms are well appointed, the food delicious and the fishing guides always put us on fish, and provided pointers along the way which was helpful to me as a less experienced fisherman. Although we didn’t use any of the pools, they were certainly inviting. We look forward to our next visit, only next time we will stay longer.

Flexible and outstanding
We have stayed both as a family and with small groups at El Pescador several times. Had a trip booked for spring break, but when I looked at my calendar, I realized I had booked the wrong weekend. Yellow dog fly fishing and the lodge bent over backwards to accommodate us. Will definitely be back. The food, the lodging and the fishing are always top-notch.

Felt like we returned home again.
This was our 2nd visit to El Pescador, six years since our first. The warm, friendly staff, the accommodations & the dining were exactly what we remembered. The mark of a truly great resort is consistency, which El Pescador has clearly demonstrated. We give them our highest recommendation.

Flats fishing doesn’t get better.
El Pescador is a fantastic fly fishing destination. Everything is impeccable; the accommodations, the food, the people, the fishing guides. Everything is top notch. I also love the organization of the days. All of your needs sre met and you can focus on fishing and relaxing.

Great Place to Fish and Relax
Great stay! Spent 6 nights here fishing 5 days. Staff was wonderful and the service impeccable. Highly recommend them whether you fish or not. Dinners were great and carried every night. Great breakfast too. Always got take out lunch for fishing which were great too.

El Pescador has carved out a real niche for itself. Its combination of comfortable and gracious living in a totally relaxed, outdoor setting is unique and has a charm all its own. When asked by Steve for our suggestions about how to make it better, we were hard pressed to come up with anything substantive.
I don't know whether you embrace all of your guests as you did our little family, but we felt as though we were being welcomed into a wonderfully warm, interesting, and entertaining family that we were only too happy to be adopted by.
