Inn at Bay Harbor, Autograph Collection

had a Thanksgiving dinner at the Inn with my wife. At best it was an embarrassment. At the turkey carving station, I asked for dark meat. They said they will get some as all they could carve was from a white turkey "roll". They brought out little hunks of meat, and when I asked what it was the carver said they took some white meat and put it back in the oven to make it brown....The dessert table had one kind of pie only....stay away. This place is a disgrace.

This hotel is top-notch. The staff are friendly, helpful and professional. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and delicious. The Vintage Chophouse also has delicious food and a cozy atmosphere. A short drive will take you to the charming town of Charlevoix to the south, or Petoskey to the north. I highly recommend getting a room with a view of the bay. It's beaufiul.

We stayed here for 2 nights on our anniversary trip. From the time we drove into the place to the time we left, we were in awe. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, and the service from the entire staff was excellent! We had a room with a balcony overlooking the lake, and the sunset views were amazing. If we're ever through the area again we will definitely be staying here again!

This is a beautiful resort. We were passing through for the night and looking to relax. Our room was excellent and clean. We enjoyed lounging in the chairs while enjoying a cocktail. The bonfire and s’more kit was an added treat in the evening. Glad we gave it a try and would come back.

As a Marriott managed property it was wonderful. Management and staff were top notch. However, my experience with the Boyne management today was horrible and they would not honor a promo even after I received an email stating it would be honored. Very disappointed in the change of management as my experiences with Marriott have been great. Boyne management will continue to lose customers due to poor customer treatment and poor management decisions. Boyne is not accommodating customers as promised as a Marriott property. Such a disappointment in Boyne management. I do not and will NOT recommend staying at the inn at Bay Harbor anymore due to my negative experience with Boyne management and them taking over this property. In the past, I always highly recommended Inn at Bay Harbor when it was a Marriott property. I will continue my stays at Marriott Hotels and am disappointed with Boyne’s management of Inn at Bay Harbor and not honoring Marriott even though they are not separated from them until October.
