Hilton Berlin

Clean, centrally located, and a great value. I stayed at the Hilton for three nights, and didn't regret it. I got a great night's sleep, the staff were helpful, and the breakfast was great. That said, they could use more staff during breakfast to refill coffee since most of the coffee machines were broke. I ended up buying a coffee elsewhere after breakfast was over.

Excellent location with wonderful staff this is a great hotel for a city break to Berlin. Right by a U-Bahn stop and 20 min walk from Reischtsg TV Tower, museum quarter and Brandenburg Gate. Checkpoint Charlie 10 mins. Great selection of places to eat on the doorstep and recommend La Pearle cafe for breakfast as there is €15/20 for 2 v €56 at the hotel… see my separate review. Had a few room issues, room 1 heating didn’t work, moved us immediately to room 2 but shower not working! Monika in reception was mortified and we were moved again.. all fine for us… to a suite and given a bottle of wine as well. Cannot fault them. A great hotel for a city break to Berlin.

Do not stay here until the refurbishment is finished. The noise from drilling and the lack of normal facilities are an issue. After it's done it's a great location and usually a good choice with efficient services and decent rooms if you can avoid giant groups.

Great 5 nights Executive club and breakfast rooms were being re-furbed but attention from staff made up for this Special thanks to Lucky, Soraya and Berkay Great location for seeing all Berlin with great restaurants and bars nearby Hope to re-visit when re-furb completed

Have stayed here many times over the years and is one of our favourite hotels ever. However this isn’t about our stay as we didn’t stay on this visit, it’s a review about our visit to the bar and lounge area. When we visit Berlin part of our treats is to have a glass of wine in the lounge to finish the evening off. As we were not staying here we did not want to miss out on that experience, and three times during our Christmas/New Year vacation we decided to make the detour and have a bottle of wine. It’s just a relaxing atmosphere, piano playing, comfortable furnishings, gorgeous Christmas tree and excellent friendly service. One way or another we make the Hilton part of Berlin visit.
