We found this historic Hotel customer lovingvftim the first step. Valet folks welcomed us with complimentary valet, opened doors, helped with our luggage. Check in was a breeze, friendly and helpful. The rooms are really nice, could use desk chair update, and second chair update. Maintenance was there in moments ti fix a small item. Housekeeping was the best I've seen in many years. Highly recommend.

We were passing through from Yellowstone to Wyoming, and stayed one night. And a pleasant night it was. ROOMS: We were in a 5th floor room in the north corner, probably an odd layout being in the corner like that, but it was appointed very nicely, and quite comfortable. Shower had excellent pressure. Only minor quibbles were that the safe in the close was on an upper shelf, perfect for its open door to whack your head, and one side of the bed at the head was about five feet from the bathroom, making it not very private. 1st Avenue, unfortunately, is a pretty noisy street at night and early morning, and the A/C units behind the hotel made an audible hum in the room. But, again, we were very comfortable, and would willingly have stayed longer if we'd needed to. SERVICE: Both the desk staff and the valets were top-notch, friendly and helpful. AMENITIES: The hotel sports two restaurants: Bernie's Diner (breakfast and lunch), which was excellent, and TEN (bar and dinner) which was very good (and pricey). LOCATION: The hotel is in downtown Billings, so a bit of a drive from the interstate. The neighborhood is okay, not great. NET-NET: I'd certainly stay there again if I were passing through or visiting Billings. It's not cheap, but it was a nice stay.

Terrible hotel management and service. They sent my wash out but forgot to pick it up. They then promised to pay for me to get some clean clothes for my trip home. But, because I was at the hospital and unable to go with them on their schedule, I had to buy my own. Afterwards, their general manager said "I'm taking that off the table" because I was not available at their convenience (instead of mine). Complete failure on their part and disgusting level of service.

I called the desk as we were coming in to town and Jennifer, the desk associate, told me that she didn't see a reservation for us! But she reassured us that they had a room and not to worry. When we got to the hotel, it turned out that it was an issue with Booking.com and it was quite a tangle. She was so professional, apologized for the wait and ended up giving us the same rate - but upgrading us to a suite on the top floor!! Not only that but she comped our breakfast the next morning. This kind of exceptional service is so rare anymore, I just wanted to thank you Jennifer for the wonderful care you took with us!
