Montage Palmetto Bluff

Beautiful hotel with great service and offerings. We rode bikes, made s'mores and enjoyed dinner and breakfast onsite at Octagon. Food was very good but very expensive, especially breakfast--$15.00 for a glass of fresh pressed orange juice seemed especially hefty as did $20+ for pancakes Afternoon "Porching" where cookies and red tea or lemonade is served was a nice touch but the ceiling fan in the area closest to the restaurant was very dirty and a big turn off. Was out of character as everything else from our room to the common areas were all very clean.

Love the Montage brand (Laguna is incredible). This one is more standard stuff. Food very mediocre. And for the price, crazy. Coffee is all Nespresso which is ok at an airport marriot but at the $2000/night Montage? Premium coffee please (btw, same stuff in the restaurants). Don’t book the cottages! Conversation in the adjoining room are very clear! Even at normal volume. Unusual for such a premium property. Cart drivers and staff are excellent. Couldn’t be nicer. Property is also beautiful. Very old fashioned southern. But I’ve stayed all over the place. For $2100 a night, you expect something incredible. This is nice ordinary.

I have been to a few other Montage locations, but this was my first visit here. It was undoubtedly an amazing location with great amenities, and service. The Montage was first class all the way around. I highly recommend Palmetto Bluff and I will be returning again.

The Montage has outdone themselves with the Palmetto Bluff location. The property is gorgeous and the staff and service are superb. The spa experience was top notch. The property located on the water front was amazing and offered great options to enjoy low country.

We planned our stay to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary - first time visit. The customer service was truly best in class. We were made to feel welcome and special. We stayed in a cottage (lagoon view) and loved the extra space, screened in private porch, fireplace, soaking tub and steam shower. We enjoyed using the complimentary bikes to stroll around the property and to Mooreland Village. The tree house (Mooreland) is a must - beautiful views! Ate at all property restaurants. All were outstanding - fantastic service and food. Visit Hush for a craft cocktail and lovely ambiance. We went before dinner at the River House. We didn't want to leave! Can't wait to go back and try other Montage properties!
