Charles Hotel

Lovely hotel and perfectly located. Parking is easy and connects directly to the hotel. It is the only place we stay when visiting our granddaughter at Harvard. Convenient to shopping and restaurants and easy to get onto I-90 to get home quickly.

Such a great hotel in a phenomenal location with incredibly friendly and helpful staff! The gym is one of the best I have ever seen and one of the few hotels in its class that still does free morning coffee. Great visit and would love to come back

The hotel is extremely well maintained and the staff is both professional and friendly. This location is ideal for visits to Cambridge area attractions and we will stay there again when in the area. The amenities of the hotel are great as well - gym , restaurants, parking, all very nice and convenient.

My daughter and I stayed here for one night to be close to my husband who was having surgery at Mount Auburn Hospital down the road. The hotel was a calm respite during a stressful time. I am so glad we stayed here because there were a bunch of small ways the staff helped us out. The server at Henrietta's table helped get us going when the call came that we needed to be at the hospital and the valet service was super quick both times I used it. The front desk made it easy for me to leave, while letting my daughter do final check out while I ran to the hospital early. Later check out is available if you are an Iprefer member, which was easy to sign up for before my registration. The room was quiet, despite being so close to Harvard Square. It had homey touches including bespoke teas and an extra blanket. I was able to have camomille and wrap up in the robe and blanket in the gorgeous leather chair with a book in the afternoon. And the food at Henrietta's Table was simply scrumptious - we ate there for afternoon, dinner and breakfast!

This hotel has continued to go downhill for the last 6 years or more. The staff presents as either clueless or unaccountable. Room service menu weird so even though I was sick one night I couldn’t find anything simple to eat. No maid service. Next time I will go elsewhere.
