Royal Cancun average.
Food and beverage service is slow. Resort needs to hire more staff. Quality of food is average and needs more variety. Fitness Center needs better (newer) equipment. Treadmill and Eliptical machines are old and most days out of service. Weight machines are outdated.

Relaxing and enjoyable family vacation with kids
Wonderful stay, staff is very nice and helpful. Samantha, Antonio, Miss Carmen, Klara, Miguel- thank you for making our vacation enjoyable. Very relaxing, right on the beach. This is more traditional looking, hacienda style place, with spacious suites that are apartment style and not a typical hotel room, which we liked a lot. They have 2 pools, but the beach is small and was full of sea weed when we were there so we couldn’t swim. Much better looking than what online pictures show and we are glad we choose Royal Cancun for our family vacation. Thank you all for a great stay!

nice relaxed resort
was great and relaxing. low key. really good service. Italian restaurant is nice. cozy little place and mostly quiet. close to downtown Cancun. top notch on getting settled into room and personnel were very good at getting was was needed for us

Great staff
The resort is facing the bay so the beach wasn’t great. It is not in the center of the hotel zone, thus a little bit of inconvenience. The resort staff were friendly and always willing to help. Especially, our housekeeper, Francia was great. She made our stay comfortable and kept everything in order.

Good value overall
Well maintained property with good activities on site. Nice shallow and secluded beach. All inclusive options are satisfactory. The service provided by staff is excellent. Option to use sister property. Walkable distance to the ferry to isla mujeres.
