very friendly staff everyone says hi. good food/buffet and food our rooms were cleaned daily. the pool is very nice as all as the swim up bar. would definitely recommend coming to this beautiful spot. it was money well spent! and the drinks were delicious

Welcome Home
The Royal Cancun is a wonderful resort staffed by some of the most friendly people in Cancun. Every person from the front desk staff to the housekeepers smile and greet you every time. My wife and I spend two weeks here every year. Most everything we need is here - two pools, a gym, two restaurants and a market. There are games for young and old and one of the staff took us for a sailboat ride. We also snorkel off the long dock. The food at the restaurants is good as is the service at the beach. Unlike some other resorts, we are playable to get a nice spot on the beach with good shade. A few of the furnishings have seen better days and we will see how that fares with the new ownership but we are cautiously optimistic that it will right itself. The maintenance has been very prompt and well done.

Wonderful relaxing stay- 5 stars
Best place to rest and relax in the Sun and warm weather, period. The pools, beach are terrific. Its Quiet with friendly guests and a wonderful staff. Reynaldo and his team members greet you when you arrive and set the bar high for a very enjoyable stay at the Royal Cancun. The staff and service is outstanding! We will continue to return as often as we can.

Beautiful resort
Lovely resort. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Good food at both dining options. Excellent selection of drinks. Never a problem to get lounge chairs at the beach. All staff were friendly and did everything they could to provide an excellent experience. Beach was swimmable as it is in a bit of a cove without large waves. Overall we had a great time!

Enjoyed our stay at Royal Cancun! Great resort and had concierges Alfredo and Dan! They helped make our stay memorable!
Had a fantastic time. Our concierge’s Dan and Alfredo were so exceptional! Also had help from Jose and Daniella at check-in. Great people! The beach is calm and peaceful. We enjoyed watching all the gorgeous boats passing in front of the resort. The catamarans left daily on their travels to Isla Mujeres! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
