This was our favorite hotel we’ve ever stayed at. The hotel/property is absolutely beautiful and in a perfect location. Loved the champagne buffet breakfast, afternoon cocktails, and evening cookies, along with a cute pool area and car service into town! Very friendly staff! We are obsessed.

We stayed ay La Playa for our 10yr wedding anniversary. It was a magical experience. Our room was amazing the staff was friendly, kind and accommodating. The daily breakfast was amazing, the fresh cookies every evening were amazing, the drinks were amazing. Location is amazing! A couple blocks from town and the beach. We will be back every year!

Well appointed rooms with mini bar, Incredible breakfast buffet with omelette station, waffle station and broad selection of other items and mimosas, fantastic happy hour with complimentary local wines and not limited to just one, a speakeasy bar with great music, pool was chill, easy walk to everything downtown Carmel, view of Ocean from breakfast area, easy checkin/checkout, great room and awesome water pressure in shower.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at La Playa. The proximity to beach and downtown Carmel was perfect. The complimentary breakfast, evening cookies, wine, and iced tea took our stay to the next level. I’ll be dreaming about the flowers in the courtyard gardens. Absolutely stunning! It was really nice to have a pool on the property, as well, since the beach was a tad cold. My husband and I appreciated how quiet the property was, and hope to come back someday!

Stunning views, luxurious rooms, and exceptional service! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. Loved the Verve Coffee and amazing breakfast. A perfect getaway in Carmel. Highly recommend! The hotel's location is perfect for exploring Carmel, but with such beautiful surroundings and excellent amenities, we found ourselves wanting to spend more time at the hotel itself. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, a relaxing retreat, or a base to explore the Carmel area, La Playa Hotel delivers on all fronts.
