Vanessa with the glasses at the front desk was very helpful and kind. The location was great for St. Patrick’s day festivities. Lobby is cute and staff was very nice. Rooms are basic and clean. Hallway noise was easy to hear which wasn’t the best.

When I put my do not disturb on my door and people still come into my room thank goodness I took pics of everything and took pics of the door tag hanging on the door at that. For the price we paid at least a small free breakfast bar or something. And whoever came in did not do anything but look in our frig didn’t even have the decency to take are dirty towels and give us new. Picture below is prior to leaving then when we came back the door tag was on our floor inside!

Amazing experience during a work conference. Clean room and beautiful views. Vanessa at the front desk was very kind and helpful at all times! I would definitely come back and stay at this hotel next time I am in Chicago, and would absolutely recommend this to the people I know. People like Vanessa truly make a difference for guests!

Worst experience ever. We came into town for the St Patrick’s day river festivals, and upon arrival of our hotel was charged a deposit fee that was not discussed in reservation. Moving forward, we accepted the fee and then later come to find out after we got back to the hotel from eating we were locked out of our room. We contacted the front desk the lady named. “LG” gave me two new keys and as I got up to our room, discovered those didn’t work as well. I then tried to call the front desk and I had no answer so I went down to the front desk area and was asking them why our room was locked. They explained that there was charges from a “ mini bar” for $110. We had drank a Canada Dry, Diet Coke, and a small thing of Pringles, and chocolate covered almonds. LOL. After management came up and explained the charges we were finally let into our room after paying an extra $10 that was “supposedly” due. Staff was not accommodating to a single thing. The pool closed at 11 o’clock and my nine-year-old daughter got 30 minutes of swim time due to them, locking us out of our room. Not having any access to our belongings. All for us to go to the pool area FINALLY at 10:20/10:30 pm and see a cockroach! Wouldn’t recommend this place at all due to staff, unexplained pricing, hidden fees, and BUGS. The ONLY staff member that is trying or even heard us out was named Mark. Other than that this place is a 0/10 for me and is very unfortunate because last year we stayed here at the same time and had such An amazing stay. I would recommend any other hotel other than this one!

My husband and I stayed at Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel Chicago many times. We chose this hotel because its unique architecture and indoor swimming pool. However, the indoor swimming pool is not as clean as it was. During the recent days, the water in the pool was murky. I saw roaches on the pool deck, candy wrapper, and wine bottle cork although food and drink are prohibited in the pool area. I hope the hotel management pays more attention to the pool and make it a clean and welcoming place to its guests.
