It’s a wonderful, beautiful hotel, the staff are lovely. It’s a 5 star experience but it stays being Mexican so it’s not like one of those hotels that are blandly international. The food is great. My only moan is that when I was there there was a wedding going on that played music until after 2a.m. That kept me awake. It also appears to be near some sort of military base that seems to fire off cannons from time to time.

Paradise! If you are looking for a special place to relax and enjoy some time away, this is your place. The overall service, the rooms, beds, decor, the food and the people that work here are incredible. The staff cannot do enough, they really make this place unique. First class hotel with first class service. We have been coming here for years as a family and have spent many holidays and special events here ie. Thanksgiving, New Year’s, baptism parties and just some much needed family time. If you have experienced this place, you know what I am talking about. If you are thinking about coming here after reading the reviews, do yourself a favor, and book ahead. You will be glad you did. The Trevino Family

We held our wedding at this venue, (they have gardens for this purpose and not only hotel and restaurant), we basically feel robbed and so sad to have chosen Las Mañanitas to celebrate such an important event, service was poor and rude. They actually broke one of our toast glasses (that was a present from my sister) and they didn’t take any responsability on that matter, but they over charge you as a customer for the very least of things that cross their mind during the event, anyways, place is beautiful but their service sucks and it’s not worthy.

It is a gorgeous hotel. Our experience was just to relax and enjoy the place. We had and excellent experience and we would love to return. We chose Cuernavaca for the hotel but were pleasantly surprised that the city is so beautiful and interesting.

The bathroom in our room had a really bad odor coming from the tub drain (very strong urine smell, especially when turning on the shower). We complained but things did not change. We expected a different standard for the price we payed and the reviews the hotel had.

Cocinar Mexicano is an experience no one with a zest for learning Mexican cuisine should miss. The classes are well thought out and geared towards all levels of cooking knowledge. The entire program has a wonderful balance of time for classes, exploration and relaxation set in a magical village that leaves you wanting to make another visit immediately to hear the sounds and take in the aromas of Mexico at its finest.

We are still in a state of euphoria over our adventure with Cocinar Mexicano. This remarkable program combined a beautiful location, high level teaching skills, simultaneous Spanish/English translation, a fine kitchen facility, and lots of tender loving care. Now that we are home, we are paging through our recipes and photos, celebrating once again a superb learning experience.
