Diani Reef Beach Resort & Spa

The hotel services were impeccable. Staff members know their job well. I give my flowers to Collins and Naomi for their service during their night shift service. Kudos!!! The food was sumptuously done. I will come again, because of the two staffers and their exemplary service. They made us feel warm! Asante!

This is absolutely my fave place whenever I visit Diani, the staff is fantastic...the place is clean and their service is top. The rooms are quite old judging from the bathrooms' state , other than that... they always make sure our stay is worthwhile. The food is great too!

We arrived very early as a big group and surprisingly there was no welcome drink or towels. We were then shown to a lounge area to await breakfast. The half breakfast was a disappointment. Check in was finally done at 10 and to their credit earlier than promised. The room was clean and bed comfortable, well supplied with toiletries and dental kits though quite dated. The meals thereafter were okay though dessert was predictable as it didn't change much. Getting tea or coffee at meal times was a challenge. The conference room was good and water was supplied throughout. The hotel seems to be going through a tough patch as one whole wing was closed, the grass didn't look well kept, there was construction going on up front, and one pool was also under repair. The lift was old and scary to use. The spa was not I use but gymn seemed well equipped. This hotel certainly needs a face-lift.

Travelled for a couples retreat with a group of friends and I must say we were all amazed at the freedom of expression we had. We had fun, meetings, swimming games and aerobics, workshops and joint meal times that were much fun! Kudos to the hotel for being accommodative and responsive to all requests. The rooms were fine and cleaned regularly. The second swimming pool was the place to be, even though the main pool was undergoing refurbishment. I never noticed the difference. Only issue is that some rooms showed their age and items like the main shower not working in our room, but the alternate showers worked great, so no complaints. A lot of renovation works were also ongoing, so the future is bright! Food was awesome with diverse choices all the time, from the soups to main course to desserts .... all were well thought out and tasted great. I actually did not repeat a dish the days we were there. Good job.

We visited the Hotel as a couple in the Month of October 2024. The Hotel is very big although a lot of renovations were taking place, like the main swimming pool was closed. The beach is so white with very soft sand, a beauty to behold. The food was very nice and the staff very helpful and more than ready to assist you in case of anything. I must give it to their animation team ( I think called nzuri), they are just awesome and even the entertainment place is very comfy. Just a few areas to improve, the lift on the side where we were was very old and clanking which was a bit scary. They could improve on the beds which were not very comfortable.
