Fota Island Resort

Another fabulous stay in Fota Resort, as always, 5 stars facilities and beautiful surroundings coupled with a warm, down to earth attention and friendly attitude from all staff - cannot commend them enough. Spa and swimming pool are another highlight. Well done

Had a 4 night stay in the lodges on the resort grounds. We were able to check in early which was great as had the pool booked for the first evening. House itself was perfect, everything you needed in the kitchen, great showers and comfortable beds. We went up to the hotel twice for dinner, first the Amber lounge and second time in Fota restaurant. Both times the service was super amd food excellent We also spent an afternoon at the adventure centre on sight which despite the weather being terrible still was a great time. They managed to cater for ages 4 to adult really well so everyone could enjoy it. Will certainly be back

Just back from a lovely stay at Fota Resort. The weather wasn't on our side but in between showers we took a walk on the Fairy Trial which was lovely. When we arrived our room wasn't ready so the staff kindly took our bags and sent them to our room. The lobby area is a lovely place to sit and relax with a drink which we did and not after long we got a phone call saying our room was ready. When we got to the room there was a welcome plate and a bottle of wine - the upgrade price to the deluxe room is extremely reasonable! Spacious room and bathroom with all of the amenities you would need. Nice large TV although the Chromecast feature wasn't the easiest to figure out but not having it wasn't a huge deal. We dined in the Amber Lounge where Jose looked after us. He was excellent and gave recommendations for dishes which I followed and everything was absolutely delicious. He checked in on us often to make sure we had everything we needed. Very professional but also humorous. Breakfast the following morning was good and everything was delicious. Unfortunately this time we couldn't use the spa facilities but we are hoping to do so on our next trip back to Fota!

Lovely few days The pool is as lovely really clean and the breakfast was high quality food and staff were so attentive It is also a great location to explore county cork and e went to Cobh and foto wildlife park The gardens and grounds of the hotel are beautiful We had a family evening meal in the clubhouse - lovely !

Very nice place high spec Good staff very attentive But the amount of children in when I was eating my dinner was crazy past 8 o clock I couldn’t enjoy my dinner After 10 there was still child going around Would recommend only for the fact the amount of children..
