Situated atop a seemingly infinite stretch of beach in breathtaking Da Nang, The Nam Hai Hoi An is Vietnam's premier luxury retreat. Striking accommodations in this all-villa resort line the beachfront, where the rhythmic lapping of the South China Sea meets the soft talcum shore. Drawing inspiration from the feng shui philosophies of wind and water, The Nam Hai Hoi An embraces the region's 2,500 years of history, creating a space that is at once classic and contemporary. Nestled under the shade of tall palms, villas range from intimate with one bedroom to palatial with room for up to 15. Each space is a personal paradise, designed with a calming palette of neutral cream, brown, and cool ebony hues. Plush furnishings are simple yet sophisticated, with rooms instead emphasizing the immense natural beauty of the area through abundant floor-to-ceiling windows and an expansive, furnished veranda facing the water. Get lost in the bespoke quality of luxury at The Nam Hai Hoi An.

If you have the money, this property is wonderful. Excellent service, all sorts of extras, outstanding facilities. right on the wonderful beach. We were on the sand 7 steps from our room. Not the best for children. This is Asian luxury. There's an Indian (yay!) restaurant, plus Japanese and Vietnamese/Western restaurants.

We are Four Season junkies having stayed at 23 of their properties world wide and done an around the world trip on the jet. Although each property has been fantastic, this resort is on another level from most. The setting is idyllic, the rooms fantastic, but the most amazing thing is the staff. Special shout out to Marco, an assistant manager, and Tram in the dinging room. Alex, the visiting masseuse was amazing.

Four Seasons in Vietnam is absolutely amazing. The resort itself felt like a little slice of paradise—stunning scenery, beautiful Vietnamese lanterns everywhere, and a great mix of luxury and culture. Every detail was so well thought out, from the peaceful music playing around the resort to the little touches that made the whole experience feel special. The food was incredible, and we loved how fresh and flavorful everything was. One of the biggest highlights was our butler, An, who made us the best Vietnamese coffee every morning—seriously, it was next-level good. He made sure everything was perfect, and his attention to detail really stood out. We also had a blast riding the bikes around the resort, which made it easy and fun to explore. It felt like the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure. There was also plenty to do beyond just lounging around. The gym was solid, and we had fun playing paddleball, tennis, and basketball. One of our favorite parts? Having a few drinks and then playing some late-night ping-pong—such a fun way to end the day. Overall, the Four Seasons nailed it—luxurious, welcoming, and just an all-around perfect getaway. Can’t wait to go back!

This resort was for us ‘faultless’, from the moment we walked out of the airport to the moment we left Hoi An, the four seasons team impressed us at every stage. A huge special mention must go to An, our amazing butler who offered such attention to detail, kindness, and incredible service made all the difference, and we felt so well looked after the entire time. We were met by various management of the hotel who showed a genuine interest in what we thought and what we were up to. The food was delicious and breakfast offered almost everything you could possibly want. We took part in some activities which were good fun and even got to enjoy the guest chef (2 star) almost exclusively. The spa was great and we enjoyed two blissful facials overlooking the spa lagoon. We absolutely adored our one bed pool villa, with a totally separate lounge we enjoyed many our our meals in our room. We’re so grateful for all that you did to make our stay special four seasons. This resort is now our current favourite in the world. (Minor point, move the pool covers from the end of the pool, it’s blocking the amazing view)

We enjoyed our one week stay in a one bedroom pool villa. Our butler, Thien, was absolutely excellent throughout our stay. He was extremely responsive and efficient. All of the staff were very friendly and kind. I appreciated their attentiveness when I was sick and their personal escort to the local hospital so I could receive treatment. The food here was pretty good. However, at times, the service in the restaurants could be slow. In my opinion, the resort could do with an additional restaurant so there is more variety. The spa is lovely and the staff there did a fantastic job with our treatments. The resort is very easy to navigate- it is flat and relatively compact- however a buggy service is always available to take you from a to b. I appreciate four stars seems on the low side, but I am comparing our experience and the overall quality to comparable properties we have stayed at. I think this is a really excellent hotel, albeit with some shortcomings - eg cleanliness of our pool was not always the best, limited restaurant choice especially when the Vietnamese restaurant was closed one night, at times slow service, dirty beach (lots of plastic and other items). With all that said, we would return.
