Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort

The overall experience was great! The ocean club rooms are very nice as well as the staff! During breakfast and appetizers at the V/47 club, Teresa was very kind and accommodating when it came to allergies in my family! The ocean is beautiful and fun to go in. I would recommend staying here!

Overall is good Pros: the room is quiet and clean. Because it got remodeled so the room is new and layout is good. Special thank to Yining who cleans our room nicely everyday! Food is good as well. We can always get food downstairs when we don’t go outside. Kids loved the pool where they spent most of the time. Cons: hard to get warm water to drink as there’s no microwave in the room. You also need to get water downstairs from the water fountain.

Would definitely stay here again, and next time I'd book directly with the hotel, for 2 reasons. First, they give you a great deal for return stays, and 2nd, booking 3rd party seems to relegate us to less-desirable rooms/locations. Our first room had a view of the pool, but because I called down to the desk to see if they had a similar room with a bathtub, we were able to get one with an amazing view. Didn't really want 2 beds, but the view was worth it. This is a smaller (in our opinion, perfect size), well-equipped hotel, right on Waikiki beach, next to the Sheraton, and a short walk to the Hilton Hawaiian Village. It is quiet, yet close to all the shopping and restaurants you want to walk to. Upon check in, Izy gathered our bags. When we decided to move to a different room, Izy was so helpful in moving our bags to the new room and he even went down to the front desk and got us our new keys. The room had a comfortable bed, refrigerator and lots of space but no microwave which was disappointing. They could use some softer towels and better toilet paper, but everything else was very nice. They give you complimentary stainless steel water bottles and have refill stations throughout the hotel which is appreciated. Did not see recycling bins. Everyone at the front desk was helpful and friendly. They have a nice store with super sweet employees, a row of shops connected to the hotel including an ABC Store, a tour desk to arrange anything you want to do while in town, an on-site restaurant (Michael was a fantastic server) and an outdoor pool. Checkout was easy, and the friendly Bell desk guys stored our luggage for us since we had a red-eye flight. Izy helped us again as we waited for our Uber, and things were really starting to pick up for the holidays when we left on Dec. 19th. Gave a whole different feel to the place.

We stayed in a room facing the ocean and had great views of the ocean, beach, turtles, and a seal. The staff was attentive and kind. Joanna L was friendly and made sure our room was clean and stocked. Things to keep in mind include valet only parking.

Boni & Mary are quite possibly the best and most cheerful housekeepers we have ever experienced. Top notch better than cruise ships cabin stewards. 5 Stars! Their attention to detail is unrivaled, pleasant personality’s, always attentive, Outrigger Waikiki Reef is lucky to have them as employees.
