With 148 Conch-style waterfront and garden view rooms, suites and cottages, recently revamped Parrot Key Resort is the epitome of a classic dignified beach community just off the bustling Key West Duval Street and Historic Old Town. The property encompasses 5 acres of neatly landscaped tropical grounds, an internationally acclaimed sculpture garden and swaying palm trees. Mangroves and bougainvillea skirt the powdery beach, which edges the Gulf of Mexico. Gleaming white trim, picket fences and comfy porches with colorful Adirondack chairs made for leisurely lounging set the bucolic tone. Extra roomy accommodations are decorated in cheery pastels with chic handmade wooden furniture and wicker loungers. Notwithstanding the nostalgic beach cottage atmosphere, tech amenities abound in each room: there is property-wide complimentary wireless high-speed Internet access, a flat-screen television, DVD player and premium cable service. Bathrooms have walk-in showers and original artwork adorns the walls.

Stayed at this hotel during our holiday around Florida! Key west is such a beautiful place like no where I have ever been before. This hotel added to my wonderful trip as it was just perfect clean/modern/spacious room/fantastic pools. I can’t think of any complaints at all. The staff so helpful and the free shuttle to town is excellent and the driver gives really good guidance on the place. No doubt we will definitely be back soon :-)))

Honestly, our only regret is not spending more time using the amenities. It was constantly quiet, regularly timed shuttles available, bike racks for rentals. Some might hate that it's located across from a major shopping center but with the style of the rooms it's very convenient to have Winn-Dixie right there. Discovered the hammocks on the last day and regretted not taking more naps by the chanel in them. Morning staff is kind and knowledgeable, evening staff probably rocks too but we didn't interact with them. Grounds team does a phenomenal job cleaning up from the wind and storms each night. Resident cat is a sweetie. Meals are a bit pricey, but so is most things in key West. If you want to save on 90$ for 2 people for breakfast, hit the Denny's across the street.

We were very disappointed with our stay at this hotel. The issues began right at check-in: our room was not ready, and we had to wait 45 minutes in the lobby—without any offer of drinks or compensation for the delay. The receptionist, Ashley, made us feel unwelcome with her unfriendly and occasionally rude attitude. This level of unprofessionalism left a very poor impression on us right from the start. When the room was finally ready, we had to carry our heavy suitcases up to the first floor ourselves, as no assistance was offered. During our stay, there was no housekeeping service, and when we raised this, the only “compensation” offered was the removal of the “water fee”—a charge that was invalid to begin with and thus hardly an actual form of compensation. The so called "minibar" acts like some sort of a bugged device see pictures, never seen this before in any hotel... The only positive aspect of our stay was the valet parking team, who were friendly, helpful, and quick. Unlike the reception staff, they made us feel well taken care of. Ultimately, we were simply relieved to leave the hotel.

We stayed at Parrot Key Resort for a few days at the end of September 2024 and really enjoyed our stay there. The entire complex with the pools and the outdoor area with sand, swings and hammocks are particularly beautiful, very well maintained and invites to relax and unwind. Our special thanks goes to Ashley Brown for her friendly and helpful care and support during our stay. Ashley made the difference - she made our days unforgettable. We will definitely be back at the Parrot Key Resort next time!

We had a wonderful stay at Parrot Key, the rooms were very neat and clean. The hotel and pools are very beautiful. BUT! We never received our deposit of €300 back. They haven’t responded to any of the emails we’ve sent, so I would not recommend staying here!
