There are two ways to reach Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Krabi. One is by speedboat from Ao Nang – the option most guests choose – and the other is by a steep trail over the craggy mountain peaks that shelter the resort from the rest of the world. Centara sits alone in a valley of palm trees on the banks of a sheltered cove. Sunbathers love this idyllic setup – the beach is long, and privacy is easy to find – while adventurer-seekers head to the Andaman Sea at the helm of a chartered boat. Rooms and villas, meanwhile, are built in a traditional Thai architectural style, with tropical pops of color enlivening an open-plan layout.

The ambience, facilities, amenities, ease of booking and finally the best of them all is the massage experience itself and the masseuse Da is very skilled in massaging the tight muscles and checking always on how you feel. Highly recommend to go again

Nana was great as my therapist. All care was taken for us to have a great relaxing time. From the point when we entered the spa till we finished, the therapist was so polite and great at her massage! Highly recommend their 2.5 hour treatments. You will be so refreshed!

How this hotel has even two stars is shocking. I’ve never been so disappointed and disgusted. Don’t know where to start- usually off the beaten path is quality but this place is horrific. Run down smelly with the worst food and terrible staff. And to top it off they blast terrible Techno music and kids are screaming and even peeing on the Astro turf. Nothing is as described. The staff smell and are loudly chatting to each other or on the phone. Toilets don’t flush, everything’s run down and filthy. Even the few Thai cuisine options were awful and dry. We even tried the kids menu and it was mystery meat (looked like melted plastic). And taste disgusting. And unless you want to do a crazy hike and get attacked by monkeys to go to town in high humidity or get soaked and pay to take an uncomfortable boat ride to town and jump out into waves and soak your entire outfit your stuck at this over priced hell hole. The breakfast made me sick, the smells made us sick and the loud tacky tourists were even worse. Someone even brought there speaker and were partying at 7am at the pool for the entire hotel to hear. I can’t stress enough what an awful place this is. If it was $50 a night and was targeted to 18 year olds or family’s who like run down smelly pools of pee and screaming kids with crazy bad techno then great- but how this hotel has “luxury” applied in the name is completely misleading! Every time we passed the front desk we heard the same complaints and people leaving early in sheer shock. Please expect disappointment and food that tastes awful and will make you sick and terrible service overall (and they will follow you into the room insisting on cash tip - even when they’ve forgotten half your order and delivered someone else’s underwear with your laundry garments) they said the hotel doesn’t pay them service charge or BAT that’s included and make you feel guilting and go give them more cash. Trash in the pool. They couldn’t even make a hot tea. Won’t bring coffee to the room and it’s terrible. Complete waste of time and money.

Resort is at really amazing location. Amenities and faculties really good. We had really memorable experience. Only issue we faced was breakfast had nothing for vegan/vegetarians.

We had booked to stay 4 nights but after only being at this hotel for 6 hours we had decided to look for another hotel. We had booked a deluxe premium room and on arrival was told we had a free upgrade, only to find ourselves in a room overlooking a children's pool with water slides. The main issue on this hotel is the water sewage stream that runs directly through the hotel the smell is disgusting. The noise of the water taxis on the beach is so loud you cannot relax. On checking out we were then given the choice to move rooms but when had previously asked then claimed there were none available. The room was clean but this hotel is definitely not a 5 star I would put it as a 3 and that's being generous.
