Absolutely amazing experience. Five star service. The staff when above and beyond to create a once in a lifetime experience. Special shout outs to Erik at the hotel who helped me order the flowers for my girlfriend and arrange a special surprise and to Giovanny at Barco where the culinary experience was enhanced by his warm demeanor and excellent service. What a hidden gem in Baja California.

We arrived Mexico and only provided our phone number to this hotel upon check in. We paid quite a bit more to upgrade to a nice suite for my husband and I. We went to bed and around 10 pm we received a call from the front desk. We didn't get to the phone in time. A minute later we received another call from unknown Mexico number. This was where everything got really bad. They convinced us the hotel was under siege, that they were cartel, and would be kidnapping us. They had us call my dad for $25,000 ransom. After much stress we ended the calls with them. I peaked in hall to see if we were under siege and the hotel maid was cleaning rooms like everything was fine. We reported this to the front desk and they had us make a police report. Noone did anything but tell us it was a scam. The scam is the part where the desk clerk took our number and they were only ones with our number. Then they called us from desk...and we missed call- then the whole cartel incident happened. The manager needs fired and so does the corrupt desk staff. The cartel is the corruption of their staff. Never so happy to leave a place in my life. About gave my dad a heart attack explaining to him how we were being ransomed for $25,000. Noone should have to do this on their vacation.

I had a great stay at the Hotel Indigo in La Paz Puerta Cortez. Since the very first time I walked in, I felt welcomed and at home. The whole staff is very friendly and professional. Front desk agents, valet, F&B, housekeeping and everyone else went above and beyound to make my stay memorable. They were always ready to solve my requests in a timely manner and they were very knowledgeable about the area and activities. The hotel itself is gorgeous! I loved my room as well and the bed was so comfortable. The views are stunning and you can walk anytime to the beautiful beach facing the beach club. The area is breathtaking and really really safe. You can walk by yourself at the marina at night and it is just so relaxing. I really recommend this hotel and the area. I hope I can stay here again soon to have another amazing stay and get to chat with the lovely staff

Perfect 4 night stay here. The hotel has been completely renovated and seemed to be almost brand new. The entire staff, from the bellmen to housekeeping, was friendly and helpful. The complex is very quiet and relaxing. We at 4 or 5 meals at Barco and all were very good at a decent price. We booked a snorkeling/seal lion tour through the concierge that left from the marina which is a 2 minute walk. We did not use the Beach Club but accessed the beach through the villas and enjoyed walking along the beach and wading through the shallow cove. The hotel is away from the city but the cab and Uber were only about $10 each way. A cab ride to Balandra Bay was about $20. There are 3 or 4 restaurants at the marina. We only at at the sushi restaurants but it was outstanding and we ate there twice. We were told the other ones were very good as well. Overall this was an excellent stay at a great price.

Hotel is clean and comfortable, concierge knows the things to do and where to go, service is good and customer focussed. Pool is comfortable and staff are helpful. Especially liked the service from Giovanni at Barcos restaurant. He remembered me by name days after our first visit. Impressive.
