Not very family friendly

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 20 hours ago

We stayed here with our family for a wedding and booked three rooms, including one for us and our baby. We called ahead to request that the rooms be located near each other so the family member helping with babysitting would have easy access. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the rooms were spread across the property. While each room technically had a connecting door, they weren’t connected to each other—other guests were in the adjoining rooms, so the setup wasn’t helpful for our family. Check-in took 45 minutes, and afterward, we were left to find our way through what felt like a maze of buildings with no assistance—even for me, traveling alone with the baby at the time. Thankfully, when my wife arrived later that evening, she was helped by a wonderful bellman who drove her and assisted with luggage. We were surprised to find that, despite this being a family-friendly resort with spacious restrooms throughout the property, there wasn’t a single baby changing table in any of them. On the positive side, we enjoyed the breakfast buffet, the Pilates classes, and the beautiful views. But for the high price, we expected a higher level of service and better accommodations for families.

Awful

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

This is the worst resort I have stayed at over priced, dreadful food, shabby rooms and abysmal customer service, refused to help me with room service. Only person who was remotely helpful was Danny the room service manager. This is the worst hotel I have stayed at rude staff, slow service and unhelpful

Best Tennis Resort in the Desert

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

La Quinta is a fabulous resort-- the staff are friendly, helpful, and truly make you feel at home in the desert. We had the privilege of playing tennis every day on the La Quinta Tennis Courts. The courts have been recently resurfaced and are in great condition. Kevin Connolly and the entire tennis staff are awesome to work with. They work hard to get everyone playing tennis, squeegee after the rain, bring pros onsite to practice, and make the whole environment fun and energetic. If you're looking for a tennis vacation, I couldn't recommend them highly enough!

Kudos to the tennis staff and director

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

We have been coming to the BNP Paribas tennis tournament at Indian Wells for 20+ years. The main reason we continue to come back and stay at the La Quinta Resort and Spa is because of the tennis staff. Tennis Director Kevin Connolly and his team are top notch, the best. We love to play tennis in the morning, enjoy watching the BNP in the afternoon, and have a great dinner out in the evening. We rinse and repeat that for 4-5 days. We love it! Thanks again Kevin for making us feel so welcome!

Great tennis resort

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

We used the tennis facility at La Quinta resort. Kevin has taken care of my groups needs for the last 6 years and has been wonderful to deal with every year. First class service before and when we are there from the top down. I would highly recommend La Quinta resort

Great service, clean room, comfortable bed, large bathroom with 2 sinks. We stayed at La Quinta Resort and Spa. The grounds are stunning with all color of flowers. Food is great, all meals. Our only complaint would be parking. It is very minimal where your villa is located. There is parking lot available but not very close. The spa is also a great place with good therapists.
