Making Great Memories (MGM)

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

The Signature is great for families. There is a small refrigerator, microwave, and sink in the room. The bathroom has double sinks. The noise level was low and the room was clean and comfortable. This is NOT your room if you do not love to walk. (We walked 38,000 steps the first day.) It is a long way from Tower 3 through the MGM and to the Strip. The journey includes three moving sidewalks. There is a Target and Walgreens nearby. I recommend stocking up on snacks and sodas. (Two Diet Cokes at the MGM Signature were $13.) The signage needs significant improvement. It can be challenging to maneuver your way through the hordes of people, the casino, and the retail and restaurants. Valet parking as of March 2025 is free, which was a real plus as we departed on the third day for the Hoover Dam, and we did not have to return to the airport to pick up the car. Will, the bellhop, was fantastic. Note: Remember to tip generously in this service-centered town! The Signature is toward the end of the Strip near New York New York, the Excalibur, the Luxor, and the Mandalay Bay. The monorail is a great way to move among properties along the strip, but it can be difficult to find your way to the boarding area. (See note below about signage.) There is also a FREE tram that takes passengers among Mandalay Bay, Luxor, and the Excalibur at the southern end of the Las Vegas Strip.

The rooms are dated and worn and the bathroom was horrible. Stained tiles and dirty grout. The desk staff wasn’t accommodating or friendly. The location isn’t as convenient as some of the hotels closer to the strip. Overall it was not a pleasant stay.

Terrible Experience - I will never stay here again!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

I had an awful experience at this hotel. Upon check-in, I was given a filthy room that smelled like smoke. I had to drag my luggage back to the lobby, only to be met with a long wait while the staff figured out a solution. When they finally moved me to another room, it was a downgrade from what I had paid for, and I was never offered a refund or compensation. On top of that, the valet service was a disaster. When I picked up my car, a piece of the wheel cover was missing. The valet staff was not only unhelpful but also incredibly rude. They reviewed footage and could not find any proof that my car arrived with the part missing, yet they still refused to take responsibility. The poor customer service and lack of accountability from this hotel were shocking. MGM properties should do better. I will never stay here again, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. Vegas has plenty of other options, avoid this one.

Very nice room. We go here every year for March madness. The only downside is it is sooooo far to walk into the mgm grand or anywhere on the strip. But good exercise. Really close to top golf though. The rooms are always clean and have a full stove and fridge and beautiful view from the balcony

Great stay

Wonderful room with full kitchen, refer, microwave, coffee maker, etc. Nice to have a balcony with sliding door for fresh air. Minor issues with no glasses or paper towels but were taken care of by staff or us buying paper towels to do dishes. We will stay again

We just had the pleasure of staying in a lovely suite at the MGM Grand. It was a joy to be able to enjoy the action on the strip and come back to the hotel for peace and comfort - we loved the jacuzzi tub and plush bed. I will most likely only stay here when I return to Vegas!
