The Beaumont Mayfair

A quiet hotel in Mayfair. With a very well done pseudo art deco style. My 2nd stay at this hotel. Quick check in. Room (studio) did not quite match the description as there was no sofa. The quality of the food is quite high by London standards and for me, in addition to the quiet location, a main reason for choosing the hotel in the future. Breakfast a la carte is good. The buffet was rather sparse. Service was bumpy. Otherwise the staff is well trained and pleasant to deal with.

Gorgeous art deco hotel with efficient staff. Well worth a visit. We stayed in a “Grand Room” which was more like an apartment. Free choccies, fruit & water in room. Hotel situated in central Mayfair and a stones throw from Selfridges & the Asian Ivy restaurant. Be careful they don’t charge you twice for inclusive breakfast.

Myself and my partner had planned our birthday weekend in London and decided to stay at The Beaumont Mayfair . I had emailed the Hotel to let them know as would it possible for an earlier check in . On arrival around 11.15 , I was welcomed not only by the caring and wonderful staff but also Ned the guest relations manager . He was very polite and the Welcome we received was outstanding . We were straight given an upgrade to The Churchill Suite , which I must stay I was speechless and very emotional . The room had complimentary Champagne and birthday cake . It was outstanding with the most amazing rooms, bathroom and the bed and bedding including pillows were the most comfortable Iv ever had . We had a dinner reservation and they even put on their courtesy car to take us . We will definitely be staying at The Beaumont the next time we’re in London . THANK YOU VERY MUCH

Great location, truly luxury feel and nice rooms. Strange room key which did not always work in the elevator and 1 point of criticism: the breakfast included is a basket that has to be consumed in the bar and not in the (breakfast) restaurant. So paid full price for additional breakfast. Would have been nice if someone had asked us about it when we got seated even if it's mentioned in the reservation. Otherwise just a great location and hotel overall.

I rarely stay at the same London hotel twice. This is not because the ones I've stayed at are bad hotels; rather, it's because the city is always popping with so many great hotels that I'm constantly curious to try the next one. However, I make an exception for the Beaumont, which I love so much that I've stayed there more than once. During my first visit, there had been a problem with the booking (through no fault of the hotel; rather, with the booking site I used). The hotel staff were so kind in the way they helped resolve the issue that that alone impressed me enough for a return visit. Both times I've stayed there, I've loved the view of the Brown Hart Gardens outside, as well as the room's dark hardwood furnishings and the Art Deco look of the whole place. That's just my speed. I've enjoyed the Colony restaurant for breakfast a great deal on both occasions. (Note: they kindly said they might be able to bring back the duck-egg hash with haddock if I notify them in advance, just for my visit. I really appreciate that! I missed that on my last visit--do please consider bringing it back!) The Mayfair location is perfect, as always, near the parks, theatre, shopping, museums, and anything else you want. I hope to return here again and again. Very grateful to all at the Beaumont for their tireless efforts giving us travelers a wonderful experience.
