Rosewood London

First time we stayed here, very impressed!! Our room was huge, plenty of space for a roll-away bed for our daughter, extremely effective AC and the most comfortable king sized bed and the most luxurious bedding and pillows ever. So nice to have a bathroom with a large walk-in shower and bath so we didn’t mind there was only one basin. Plenty of drawer and cupboard space too. The included ala- carte breakfasts are outstanding. Both UK and US plugs either side of the bed and one side with both USB-A and USB-C plugs as well. Situated about 100m from Holborn tube station, a Starbucks 50m away, and Bidwells laundry 300m away. Had an unfortunate issue with a major power failure on our last day which meant all guests had to be relocated to other hotels, the hotel staff dealt with it efficiently and arranged/paid for taxi transfers and the cost of the alternative hotel, we chose our old haunt The Savoy which turned out to be a massive disappointment, rooms are dated and tired, shower over a bath, not in the same league as Rosewood and even more expensive- best avoided until they completely renovate all the rooms which I’m told is in progress. Definitely booking at the Rosewood for our return trip next year.

The entire experience at the Rosewood London is first class. Fernando picked us up at Heathrow, which is a great way to be welcomed to London after an overnight flight. Our room was ready when we arrived, and it was great. The staff is friendly and helpful; the accommodations are excellent; and the location is perfect for business and entertainment.

I've stayed at many hotels, but the authentic hospitality here sets this place apart. The staff remembered our preferences from day one, the beds were cloud-like comfortable, and the ambient lighting throughout created such a serene atmosphere. The location was perfect, and the in-house restaurant became our favorite dining spot. Every evening felt like coming home.
