Beautiful from outside but the inside..........bad experience! Room 324 is the worst room in the buidling! Bad bed, dirty carpet , no space for your clothes, in bathroom no socket for hairdryer. You have to dry your hair in front of the TV; here the sockets. No space next to your bed. If you have to stay with 2 people in this room you will get claustrofobia. Lights going off and on by themselves during the night like there is a ghost in the room. Same with the airconditioning. Staff rude and not helpful. Shame for such a nice building and good location that the inside from the hotel does not reflect the beauty of the outside! Worst experenice in a hotel and was happy to leave.

Good experience staying here. The location was close enough to many hot spots. The room was smaller than I expected but clean and cozy. The staff were very pleasant and the doorman was very helpful with directions and such. Check in and out was easy.

Excellent hotel! Everything was absolutely amazing for us. We asked for quiet room so we had one facing to to the inside without any view but really quiet which was best for us. The room was big - lots of space, bed was very comfortable not too soft. The bathroom was beautiful and the shower was amazing. We also had bottle of champagne and macaroons waiting for us. The staff was very helpful always with perfect English. The location is the best you can ask for. And finally - there is an amazing rooftop. If we ever get back to Madrid we definitely stay here again.

I’m not sure if all the rooms are like the one I stayed in, however I would not stay there again. I booked a “courtyard” room after viewing photos of what seemed to be a decent sized internal courtyard with plenty of natural light. What we got was a level one room with a window looking out to a small internal space staring straight into other rooms and overlooking a steel pipe with cigarette butts and an old sock on the ground with a couple of artificial potted plants in the middle. It was still dark all day. The whole hotel had a sewage smell which was masked by a strong perfume that seemed to be sprayed throughout the reception area. The lady greeting us at the breakfast buffet was not helpful or friendly and for some reason we are not allowed to enjoy our breakfast on the upper area of the room, one of the mornings I fetched my own placemat and cutlery as there were none on my table. I would not return to this hotel, which is a disappointment as I enjoy staying at the Melia in Alicante.

An absolutely fantastic hotel, very clean, modern and well positioned. The hotel staff are brilliant. A special mention to Marina G and Helen who could not possibly have been more helpful. Such lovely young ladies and a real credit to the hotel An absolute pleasure to have stayed here and will definitely be back again
