Fabulous accommodations in absolutely beautiful setting! Employees were all extremely helpful and focused on us having a great time. Food was very good. It is remote and requires a water taxi to reach but once you get there you don’t want to leave!

Idyllic location & staff were lovely, professional and effective, they bent over backward to be helpful. A few negatives - room not completely clean, and aspects of the 1 brm unit were a bit run down. No more than a cursory nod to sustainable practice - disappointing in such a location. Restaurant experience (vegetarian menu) was mediocre - dishes were well executed technically but little flavour (sampled 2 of the 5 degustation dishes then ate snacks in the room instead). Regular heli landings (up to 6+ a day) directly overhead were disruptive. Very overpriced, disappointing for $2K/night, a long awaited break. Marketing themselves as 5 star, but not achieving this.

Did the Heli-Lunch with Wellington Helicopters to this resort. We all enjoyed the fantastic facilities and food. Our hostess Emily was very friendly and very knowledgeable about food and wine. The service was exceptional and the food delicious. This is a fantastic place to visit and just shut off from the rat- race. Would love to visit again.

I was beginning to regret booking a couple of nights here as it felt such a hassle having to catch the ferry and we were loving our stay at our hotel in the Marlborough region and desperately wanted to stay longer. Reluctantly we drove to Picton, unloaded our car and under overcast skies walked to the ferry terminal. The ferry left right on time and as we commenced our journey the clouds disappeared and the sun came out. The views along the Queen Charlotte Sound were amazing and we arrived at the Bay of Many Coves in glorious sunshine. The view from our apartment was spectacular and made us so very glad that we had chosen to stay here. The whole stay was incredibly relaxing and listening to the birds and the sounds over the water was wonderful. All the staff were young and friendly, which gave off a very relaxed vibe. Food in the restaurant was very good but on the second night we wanted something light having eaten lunch rather late in the day, and so we ordered a charcuterie board and a bottle of wine and sat on our balcony watching the sun go down. Breakfast was very good , a lovely selection of fresh food buffet style but also a menu to order a variety of dishes. Home made cake was on offer during the afternoon, along with coffee and tea. Although activities were available, we just enjoyed a couple of days of pure relaxation.

A unique and heavenly hideaway in spectacular surroundings. A truly relaxing and peaceful haven with superb food and excellent staff. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. The evening tasting menu's were a real delight. Lots of walking choices for the more energetic, but also superb for a rest and reset.
