Mondrian South Beach

Santos was a pleasure!!! His hospitality was unmatched. He accommodated us with a car and brought our bags to and from the room. Great service overall at the Mondrian. Highly recommend booking a stay here. We love the pool and the accommodations. The view alone is worth it!!!!

We were in a studio suite with a city view. While the room was spacious, for us it was very minimalistic and different. Some of our complaints were that there was no luggage rack, the room had an ironing board but no iron (when we called about that we were told we had to request one (!!) and housekeeping wasn’t working yet, but we insisted since we needed to go out), the bed was too low and almost to the floor, the Keurig machine didn’t work, rickety night tables that needed dusting and one of the lamps was broken, the weirdest sink in the bathroom, there was no pen or paper, the only drawers for clothes was in the kitchen, I could not reach the safe in the closet because it was too high (I’m 5’2”) and we had to lock the safe even when we weren’t using it since it kept hitting against closet door when you opened it, there wasn’t a convenient place to charge phones, there wasn’t any complimentary water. All that being said, the bed was at least comfortable, the room was spacious and the shower was really nice, but this isn’t our type of hotel and I wouldn’t consider it a luxury hotel.

What can I say, this hotel continues to exceed our expectations every time we come back!!! That’s right, we are repeat customers and will continue to be repeat customers because of the impeccable service , kindness and hospitality the Mondrian serves. We came last year for our daughter’s 1st birthday, and decided to stay at the Mondrian because the hotel looked nice and it was on the bay side which was more quiet (we usually stay on the ocean side). That trip was a dream, the staff was super friendly and made our daughter feel so special on her big day. And someone in particular made that trip extra special for us - and her name is Charlotte, the lead concierge at the Mondrian. This woman is an ANGEL. She went above and beyond, I cannot speak more highly of this individual. Because of her, and also the beautiful hotel and its location, we came back this year again!!! This time celebrating our daughter’s 2nd birthday. And once again the Mondrian staff, and Charlotte in particular, delivered. She made sure our room was comfortable and had everything we needed- including a few surprises for our daughter to make her feel special on her birthday. I cannot thank this woman enough for all that she did and also the hotel. The entire Mondrian staff has our heart. We love you guys and will continue coming back every year. To Mondrians management team: I don’t know who to address this to specifically however I urge you to please recognize Charlotte your lead concierge. I have never met someone as professional, kind, knowledgeable, and down to earth as this woman. The way she helped us map out our schedule while there, her recommendations were spot on, her kindness and generosity to my family and especially my daughter goes beyond words. So please be sure this individual is recognized in a big way. We love you Mondrian!!!!!!

We had a great experience with Sandler! He was very helpful and took great care of us. He was very kind and made sure our heavy bags made it to our room and served us free Prosecco! 10/10, I would recommend this hotel and his services to my friends.

Good service, good pool, good bar, good food, got an airbnb here. Hotel condo!!! Nice staff happy to be here. Staff is friendly. Will be here again. Dj in the lobby is a great touch, Prosecco on the house is great. I stayed in a studio, good size. Hotel bar has great sunset views.
