Mondrian South Beach

I just wanted to share a great welcoming experience, with a bell person named Sander, his personality is iabsolutely wonderful and welcoming, his smile is contagious and it can cheer you up, even from coming off a long flight & travel, he makes you feel comfortable. He was very accommodating with checking in my luggage, while waiting for my room to become available. Additionally - during the next few days of my stay, he recognized and welcomed me daily, asking of how he can be of any assistance. I believe he’s a great asset to the Mondarin property and a great dedicated employee, as he embodies a great skill set of phenomenal customer service and displays it with every guest!

Where does one start? Checking in was pretty much chaos. When I finally was given a room key, i went to my room only to see someone was still in the room who proceeded to scream at me. The rooms are worn and tired. The TV worked sometimes, and other times didn’t. You can hear literally everything in the hallway. They should tear it down and start over. On the bright side, the pool and views are excellent and tough to beat. There are far better places to stay & to be honest; the staff is fairly rude here as well! Sorry!

Front desk service is very nice people are very friendly. I also enjoyed waitress at the pool. She was also very friendly. I like front desk staff they are very friendly specially Tasheba and Trenton. I confidently can say they are one of the best.

We went to the Mondrian Hotel for Sunday brunch and had a marvelous experience. While the food and drink were very good (Eggs Benedict, Bagels and Lox, mimosas) as one would expect, what really made the experience stand out was the service. Helen, our waitress, was so helpful in suggesting that we buy a bottle of Prosecco and orange juice, rather than one mimosa at a time, as we were a party of six. She made sure our needs were met, made a great suggestion (carrot cake) for dessert and was just incredibly kind and welcoming. The setting was simply lovely as well; we were seated right by the water's edge overlooking the Intracoastal. The restaurant exudes the finer side of the South Beach vibe and makes you relax into resort-mode. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

The view is amazing, and the vibe is great. Jose is the best, very kind and detail oriented. Thank you, Jose! I live next door and it’s always a pleasure to come and have lunch here. With my partner or with friends, we always have a good time. The chicken waffles are dope.
