Since its opening during the roaring twenties, the esteemed Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables has been a magnet for celebrities and world leaders for more than eight decades. This Florida hotel's collection of elegant rooms and suites embraces the look and feel of a bygone era, with European feather bedding, oversize picture windows and comfortable sitting areas for receiving guests. Modern amenities and hi-tech gadgets are discretely present for your convenience. The resort houses four casual-to-elegant restaurants, including The 19th Hole where golfers imbibe after a day on the magnificent Donald Ross Golf Course. Sitting down to a proper afternoon tea is also part of the Biltmore Hotel culture.

Room had almost no hot water, over the plaza that had music till 11:30pm. This is a convention hotel. Food at Golf course decent, cabana pleasant. You get less than you pay for. When you say something they don't care. The cleaning staff is good and helpful

The Biltmore Miami is an impressive, well-maintained, architectural gem. However, the service at this hotel is lacking considering it is a 5-star hotel. Special requests such as off-menu room service requests receive a quick 'no,' as well as a request for a slightly later check out. The front desk did not even take the time to consult the computer and see when the next guest was due to arrive. The curt reply was definitely not in alignment with what I expect from a hotel of this calibre. There are no bathrobes or spa slippers in the gym for the sauna and steam room, and I received a 'no' when I requested them. It seems the staff is trained to honor policy over the special touches that make a guest feel truly welcomed and accommodated.

When making the reservation we were told that the Junior Suite would need a rollaway bed brought in for $50. Yet when we checked in we asked about it and was told that there is a pull out couch in the room. We asked for extra pillows on check in. Suffice to say, after dinner when we went back to the room close to 10:00 pm, the couch wasn't made up into a bed and there were no extra pillows. That was a real disappointment for a hotel that exudes luxury. The first night we decided to eat at the restaurant. I highly recommend eating elsewhere. It was incredibly expensive and although the service was very good, the food wasn't great. The pool is lovely and the grandness of the hotel is beautiful. The room wasn't anything special but it did offer robes and slippers (which I always appreciate). It's in a very good area with a lot of fabulous restaurants in the area (although you need a car to get anywhere - nothing is close enough to walk).

Went to Cascade at the Biltmore for lunch. Worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. It wasn’t busy when I was there, yet it took well over an hour for them to deliver a simple fish sandwich. It has potential to be a cool spot, but overall was an incredibly disappointing experience. I will not be back.

We used this hotel as pre flight overnight accommodation via Miami Intl. Was perfect for us for that purpose - great pool for a long swim, good food and restaurant service , and comfortable room . Convenient enough to airport , though time your transfer.
