This place is EPIC. This was our first time staying here or in downtown Miami and it was a wonderful experience. We were offered an incredible room by D'neyro the night manager, who was super kind along with a lovely surprise amenity for my husbands 50th bday! We ate locally at Cafe La Trova (live Cuban music) and spent an evening at Mila in south beach. The pool and staff at the pool/restaurant are very attentive and friendly. We will be back! Thank you.

I attended a wedding at Kimpton Epic Hotel in Miami on Saturday, December 28, 2024. It was a busy Saturday night and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Jardiel with the valet staff went above and beyond to help us with our car, especially since our battery died and the valet staff had to jumpstart the battery. We are extremely grateful for their assistance.

Ok, we booked JW marriot first, but didn't like the hotel, so moved to Kimpton Epic. We booked a big room, and room was big and nice. I especially like the hardwood floor which is lot better than carpet floor at JW. We enjoyed the daily wine hour in the lobby. However, the housekeeping team left very bad impression for our stay. First, we asked a separate comforter for the kind bed. We only got a blanket which my kid used it on his sofa bed. Next day, the blanket was taken away for no reason, and we have to ask again. Then next day, the comforter on my kid's sofa bed had been taken away. We were so confused, we called room service to give us the comforter back, they brought a blanket back??? By then, I am furious. And we asked for body wash, shampoo which were not in our room when we checked in. How is such an expensive hotel doesn't know how to do room service or customer service? And we went to Zuma twice, they are super expensive for nothing. I also lost my Akris jacket at Zuma, and someone took my email said to tell me what is their investigation result, but that also never happened. Room was also very noisy facing the city big road. Yes, the hotel shouldn't charge that much a night since it is not a high quality with high service hotel.
