The Minneapolis Hyatt Centric is our go-to downtown stay. Desk staff is uniformly outstanding, the rooms are spacious and comfortable and the full sized exercise area is a treat to use. Have recommended it to family and friends, who have also always enjoyed their stays.

Spacious, comfortable room with an absolutely fantastic, gigantic bathroom! Loved the soaker tub, with a little TV entertainment included. Clean and lovely. access to the sky walks was a bonus, and it was only minutes to US Bank stadium. Will definitely be back!

We traveled as a family, husband, wife and our toddler. We booked through Amex Travel, and we received an automatic downgrade (yes, you read it right). Despite pointing out that we paid extra to get the larger room that sleeps 3, instead of 2 - front desk didn't budge. They offered to move us to the 3-sleeper for extra despite me pointing out we already paid extra to get the 3-sleeper room. I am attaching pictures of what we booked and what we got. We got Amex Travel involved, and they still didn't budge. We were there for two-nights, so I ended up not fighting it further. The location was great, central down-town - right across from parking ramp over Indigo Hotel. Breakfast was simple yet great. We loved our breakfast. Hotel was clean, service was a bit of a mixed bag. We had a great front desk guy when we checked out, checking in was a different story. Both breakfast servers were great. All in all, if we had the room we booked, this would have been a much better experience.

I stayed here for three nights while at a conference. Overall, this hotel is much like any other chain hotel in a downtown area, but I really liked the layout of the room. I think it was a one king bed deluxe. Best of all was the lighting: good bedside reading lights, a good standing lamp for general light, and motion-detector night lights in the bathroom and on the far side of the bed. Also, the bathroom was enormous, which wasn't really useful for anything, but it was fun. Other than that, the staff was kind and helpful, and the restaurant/bar area was cozy.

Great hotel and location and truly the best workout area I have ever seen in a hotel. It was an entire floor of equipment including some novel stuff. A great distraction for a business trip. Breakfast was solid and staff were both great. Clean and easy
