A destination in itself, set on 400 acres of manicured grounds with two miles of beachfront. The accommodation at Half Moon has been designed with comfort and privacy in mind. With an abundance of space for comfort and relaxation, they have either patios or balconies, allowing guests to enjoy the peaceful views of gardens, pools and the sea from which a sweet and gentle breeze blows constantly across the resort.

Overall experience was great! Very pleased with our visit. Food was some of the best I've had, though very pricey. Very peaceful and calm. The landscape team (Delroy) cut fresh coconuts for us daily. The concierge team (Fitzgerald) were always ready to help!

My family and I spent 4 nights at Half Moon. The resort is well maintained. The staff is friendly and the service is commendable. The food is good at all of the restaurants (6). We stayed at Founder’s Cove on the property. This is the original section of the resorts. The room was large, a lot of closet space, nice balcony overlooking the beach, updated bathroom. The food and drinks are pricey but good. I recommend getting drinks before or after dinner at Lester’s. As for restaurants, eat at Sugar Mill and Delmare onsite. These are 4-and-5 star restaurants. Dinner for four people with a bottle of wine will run around $400-$450. The beach is okay. There are prettier beaches in Negril and across the Caribbean. Half Moon has nice tennis complex, 18-hole golf course, modern gym, equestrian complex, and top notch spa. This is a good place for rest and relaxation.

The friendliness and helpfullness of the staff, the firmness of the bed and softness of the pillows, the waves of the pristine blue sea, the rum punch, the breakfast buffet, the food in general but more so the exceptional food at the Sugar Mill restaurant all made for an exceptional first visit. I love the fact that most of the staff remembered our names and addressed us accordingly. We will be visiting again in the spring and making our stay an annual one.

Great resort, superb infrastructure containing beaches, pools, restaurants and sports grounds, nice and friendly staff - had a great room with direct view on the ocean. Were lucky in being there when the hotel celebrated their 70th anniversary which entailed a private concert of the Third World band including complimentary food and drinks. What a great event on top of everything.

The Chef’s Team from the Founders Cove and team member David in particular, were excellent and exceeded every expectation! I would recommend visiting Half Moon every year! The view at the Brunch section was breathtaking and there are specific things put in place to make sure you are always taken care of. The staff have an excellent and compelling enthusiasm to help you out and they always take a lot of care when tending to your needs.

We just returned from a week away at the Half Moon resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica. It was a top-notch property with deluxe accommodations, supreme service and the most deliciously prepared foods we have ever had on an all-inclusive plan. We both agreed that we would return to Half Moon in a heartbeat.

From the time we got to the Half Moon resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica, it was a lot more than advertised. The staff was more than helpful, the accommodations were better than excellent and they even upgraded us to the "royal suite." The food was first class, the choice of restaurants was great, and we enjoyed it so much. If you haven't been to the Half Moon, you really need to go there and witness for yourself why the Queen of England stays there.
