Nestled in two adjoining nineteenth century buildings on picturesque Saint-Paul Street, the hotel is the perfect place to get acquainted with the charms of Old Montreal, like the Basilica Notre-Dame, the Old Port and Chinatown. The 105 rooms of the hotel feature fireplaces, exposed stone, brick walls, double whirlpool tubs, and tasteful furnishings. With such a graceful atmosphere, you will be continually reminded that this is a hip and happening metropolitan boutique hotel.

I stayed on a Tuesday and was greeted by friendly front desk staff. The hotel was quiet with no rowdy people running through the halls at all hours slamming doors. My room was quaint and very clean. The cleanliness of the bathroom was 5 stars and I was impressed. The bed and pillows were very comfy and the linens soft. I look forward to my next visit and highly recommend this hotel.

This was our second time at the Nelligan. We arrived really early and our room wasn’t ready. We explored around for a bit and Christopher assured us that he would make sure we could get into our room asap. It was available 2 hours ahead of check in!! The room was beautiful. Had everything we needed including a great array of beverages and snacks for purchase. Concierge called up to the room to be sure everything was to our expectation. Our car was parked by the valet and was ready without delay for us when we were ready to leave. The bed and pillows were so comfy. Both my husband and I had a great night’s sleep. We will definitely stay at the Nelligan again.

Great location and a nice hotel but deeply disappointed that the hotel was under construction both inside and outside on the street. The property did not advise us at time of reservation or leading up to our stay. The hotel has ignored my subsequent communication about the situation.

Overall a beautiful hotel and great service. Hotel was having some renovations and they could do better in managing it to interfere less with the guests experience. Reception team and experience were super nice and professional. Restaurant at breakfast and lunch, both food and service were impeccable. Bar at night has room for improvement.

Superior service and attention to guests needs. Willing staff available to answer questions and help solve issues. A surprise gift from the concierge was warm and gave us an appreciation of giving and receiving. Room was impeccably maintained and cared for

Hotel Nelligan was lovely, the location is superb, and the staff professional with personal touches. Our room was fantastic, bigger than any we had ever stayed in, and the restaurant was so delicious. When we couldn't finish our dessert, they sent it to our room for us to enjoy later

We recently booked the Hotel Nelligan. We stayed in a uniquely decorated and very stylish room. The king bed was heavenly with luxury linens. Every afternoon we sipped complimentary wine and ate French cheeses by the lobby fire. The staff could not have been more courteous.

We discovered nothing less than excellent room service, a first-class restaurant and everyone at the hotel doing their best to assure a first-class experience. While the weather was cold, the staff always made us feel warm, from our entry into the lobby, throughout our stay. This hotel is a definite must for future stays in Montreal.
