Beautiful hotel in a great location
Stayed here for two nights with a group while en route to Himalayan areas of the country. This hotel offers a central location (very close to Khan Market), excellent Taj service, beautiful and spacious public areas. Food was very good at the breakfast buffet. My room was very spacious and well-appointed and offered a selection of bed pillows. It should be notes that this hotel has achieved Platinum LEED for its environmental awareness, and consistent with this, provides ample purified water in sealed, refillable glass bottles as well as large non-plastic containers of high quality toiletries and paper-wrapped toothbrush, comb, etc. All in all, it was a lovely stay at a beautiful hotel.

Gardens of flowers and beautiful hotel.
We arrived after a long airplane ride to this lovely hotel. A beautiful young woman greeted us with a lai of fresh flowers and orange dot on our foreheads. The check-in people were delightful and upgraded our room to a suite. The two rooms were large and well appointed. The kitchen had a microwave and refrigerator as well as a washing machine which we couldn’t get to work right. Had to call for help three times and the man who came wasn’t able to figure it out either but that was no big deal since we were washing only three items that dried overnight. The bed was super with down comforter and the bathroom was great, especially with thick white towels. We were upgraded to the club level restaurant that overlooks the pool and beautiful gardens. We went to it upon our arrival for cappuccino and cookies because the dinner times had passed. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices. Larry had an egg white omelet, toast and hash browns, and I had Eggs Benedict and avacado toast. Great food! Delightful atmosphere. We liked everything about this hotel. I can’t understand why it’s ranked 37th. Seems much higher to us. It was part of our package organized by Sunil of Resplemdent Travel who has done a terrific job based on our first experience here in New Delhi with our driver Sandeep and this hotel.

Stay at Taj Mahal New Delhi: A Journey of Warmth, Elegance and Legacy ; wow from welcome to farewell.
As a loyal patron of the Taj group since 2012, with my first stay at the serene Taj Bekal, I’ve always held the Taj brand close to my heart. So, when Taj Palace was fully booked during my recent trip, I found myself somewhat hesitant, unsure if the Taj Mahal New Delhi could live up to the high standards I’ve come to expect. Upon arrival, the porch, albeit charming, felt a bit chaotic and smaller than anticipated—a far cry from the grandeur I’ve come to associate with Taj properties. The lack of the signature "TajNess" initially left me wondering if the warmth and hospitality I cherish might have faded over the years. However, my concerns were swiftly put to rest by the gracious Mr. Shubham at check-in. His impeccable attention to detail, kind demeanor, and commitment to delivering unparalleled service truly restored my faith in the Taj legacy. It became clear that the values instilled by Mr. Ratan Tata live on in employees like Mr. Shubham, whose hospitality ensured my stay was memorable. Not only did he take the time to personally check my reservation details, but he also graciously offered an upgrade to a room with an expansive view that was simply mesmerizing. The room itself was nothing short of flawless, offering a perfect blend of comfort, luxury, and elegance. However, not all aspects were as seamless—the guest services team on call lacked the warmth I’ve come to expect. At times, their responses felt a little too curt, and their rushed interactions, including hanging up before a conversation was fully finished, were disappointing. Yet, my experience was further uplifted during my visit to the Clubroom restaurant, where the delightful Sveta made me feel right at home. Her warm and kind presence added a personal touch that made dining there a true pleasure. The food was a celebration of flavors, each dish more delicious than the last—truly a culinary journey that complemented the warmth and care that Sveta extended. The Spa service was good but a little rushed. Inspite of being a busy day I was accommodated. While the initial impressions of the Taj Mahal New Delhi were a mixed bag, the generosity of the staff like Mr. Shubham and Sveta, combined with the breathtaking room, ensured that my stay was ultimately memorable. It reminded me of the timeless legacy of Taj hospitality, and I left feeling that, despite a few hiccups, this hotel still holds a special place in the heart of its guests.

Amazing, warm hospitality from all employees at the Taj Mahal, Delhi. Right from check-in to dining to check-out and even airport drop facility. all my experiences were impeccable. Kudos to the team for a fabulous job.!! I'll come back 100%

Since the reception till check out hospitality & everything is up to the satisfaction Hotel Ambience & Service staff towards poolside & at every point are polite & their behaviour is also excellent I wd like to visit every now & then with my family
