Stay here! You can’t beat this location. It is so o easy to walk everywhere you need to see and eat. And the trolley/street car is so close by as well. From the minute you walk in the front door you will feel fancy! And don’t forget to have a drink at the carousel bar in the hotel. I booked through Agoda and got a great rate. Can’t wait to stay again!

We stayed in the Iberville Towers 8th floor and it was a super quiet floor. Rooms are a little small, but we were only there to sleep. Beds are very comfy. Carousel bar was always crowded, but you can still always get a seat if you are willing to wait. Staff was very nice and helpful.

We just checked out today after spending three nights at the BEST hotel we have ever stayed in in our life. My wife and myself can't say enough good things about our experience there. It all starts with the people who work there. There is no way we could remember everyone's name but we did write a few down so here they are in no particular order. Nolan the bellman. He is just awesome. He is always smiling and you can tell he loves his job. He told us he loves working there because it feels like family. He was the best. By the way Nolan how is it you can remember our names when you have all those guests there ? I wish I had a memory like that. Our housekeeper was Marlene and she did a fantastic job with our room. The two concierges Anita and Joey were the best. Always happy and answering our questions. Great job ! The two doorman Albert and Dwight were outside running the show like two conductors in an opera, lol. Open the doors, get a cab, park a car, etc. like it was nothing. They made it look easy which we know is not the case. Last but certainly not least was Tyrone. What a nice man who knows the city in and out. Always had a smile on his face and quick to say hello and ask how we were doing. And yes Tyrone the Criollo restaurant does have the best beignets in the city.

I would say the best part of New Orleans for me was the people and most definitely that included the staff at Hotel Monteleone. Namely, Jason and Earl at the poolside bar, along with the concierge, doormen and their cleaning staff. There's such a rich history in New Orleans but these gentlemen were engaging in sharing their history, with the hotel, which they were very proud to work for, and their own family histories. Their recommendations for area restaurants were spot on as we went to several and were not disappointed. They were attentive and so very down-to-earth. What a pleasure it was to be served by them. Kudos Hotel Monteleone for having an amazing staff. They certainly complimented and elevated an already beautiful hotel!

The hotel was beautiful, the food was delicious. Merry was THE BEST server we have ever had. She was very attentive and funny. She made my whole family feel like we were eating with family. 100% recommend eating in-house if you decide to stay at this beautiful hotel.
