Avoid this hotel we stayed there and pre paid but when we checked out there were hundreds of dollars in undisclosed fees taken from our card. Mandatory amenities fees even though they have almost no faculties at all. Rip off shameless money grabbing

This place is beyond amazing the staff is so friendly. Shout out to the bell hop I forgot his name but he’s a tall gentleman with a shaved head. He made our experience so much better. With being fun and giving us a trolly ride to the bar and congratulating us on getting engaged. The service Anya helped me so much with setting up the room after proposing. All around we will be staying here every time we go to New York

We stayed one night instead of our booked four. We had to leave as the noise from the aircon was unbearable and they could not turn off. An engineer was called to turn off but when we went out he came back and turned it back on. We were moved to another room with same problem and at 11pm too late to find another hotel plus the room we moved into had not been cleaned and still had the other people’s sheets on the sofa bed. There is no lounge, no mention of the restaurant being closed until you book. It was an awful experience. The staff though are very polite, but the hotel itself is really not luxurious at all.

We had six nights in The Benjamin, a very well appointed boutique hotel with a great vibe, beautiful interior and good location. I was a little apprehensive having read some less than glowing reviews however we’ve had a great experience. Our Deluxe King Studio had a kitchenette area complete with coffee maker, cutlery, crockery and utensils, sink and fridge, iron, ironing board and steamer. There was no kettle but they brought one up promptly at our request. The room was beautifully decorated, spotlessly cleaned every day and surprisingly large and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. At the recommendation of another reviewer I took plenty of hangers as there were only a few, not enough for two of us over 6 nights so I’d pass on that tip to others. The hotel is under reconstruction but that did not impact our stay, in fact had the reception staff not mention it on arrival we wouldn’t have known. Every member of staff we encountered from reception to housekeeping were very friendly, courteous and helpful. I’d recommend The Benjamin and would definitely return.

2 nights stay - nice room but could get better noise isolation I was on a high floor which mitigated the inconvenience Great location for work or holiday service is good however too bad I did not see on booking that their restaurant was closed for refurbishment ; second time it happens to me Would return upon checking in advance the restaurant is operating again

My stay was amazing. The only problem was with the room phones. I could not get them to work.
