Reviews don’t lie-Best hotel!!!
We came for an early Christmas present for ourselves. After reading tons of TripAdvisor reviews on almost every hotel in NYC I picked The Michelangelo!!! And we absolutely Loved it! From the moment you walk into the large grand lobby you feel at ease. All staff were outstanding! We picked a one bedroom suite and were blown away by the size. The bed was so comfortable after walking so many miles per day. And the hotel is walking distance to almost anywhere-central park, theaters, bryant park. Times square ,etc! This may have been our first stay but it’s definitely not our last!!!!

Excellent Hospitality!
Staff was absolutely so welcoming and attentive every single time we entered or exited the property. During our stay, they were so very accommodating to anything we needed and we’re making sure that we were having an amazing time in their hotel as well as their city!!

Perfect stay at the Michelangelo Hotel
We had a wonderful stay as always at the Michelangelo Hotel in NYC. We arrived much earlier than check in time but Walter who was working at the front desk, kindly found us a room. He also gave my daughter and granddaughter a lovely upgrade and made sure our rooms were in close proximity. Everything was perfect and everyone on the staff was helpful and welcoming. We will always continue to stay at the Michelangelo whenever we visit NYC.

Not great.
PROS Location is right in Mid Town Manhattan. Perfect for Broadway Shows and shopping Doormen attentive and helpful. CONS Unfortunately, we had two cockroaches in our bathroom on Day 2. Apparently it’s normal in the US as they climb from the drains… One bar staff quite rude and always had her headphones in. Again, didn’t really bother me (we all have bad days) but this had an impact on our stay. Two times a domestic walked into our room in the morning. I was half dressed and she said “oh you’re still here”. Overall wouldn’t return. Would recommend to stay somewhere else.

Comfortable, Clean, Convenient & Safe!
Very friendly, helpful staff! Larger rooms that were very clean. Furnishings looked a bit tired. Bed was comfortable. Convenient location to Broadway, Times Square.Easy to walk to most places visitors would want to go.Safe area. Subway station close by. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
