Awful beds
my recommendation would be to stay elsewhere if you wish to get any decent sleep. The beds were horribly uncomfortable. No support, and ridiculously squeaky with every little move. Staff was very friendly, but that really could not offset the lack of sleep

Annnual Birthday weekend
Annual NYC trip for my wife's birthday weekend with family. Family arriving different times with different rooms, front desk handled perfectly for us. Very thorough and considerate. This is not a huge corp hotel, bigger than pure boutique so somewhere in between with nice sized rooms, especially for NYC. Location is split the difference between south Manhattan and the touristy areas of Bryant park, Time square and fifth. Ubering for a play on Friday evening took a while but worth the distance. Best of both worlds. We are walkers so didn't mind walking over to chelsea, up to Grand Central and Bryant etc. Quick cab ride ( depending on time of day ) up to Central park area for annual lunch at Tavern on Green. Good location, great staff, excellent rooms !

Great hotel. amazing staff
1st class hotel and staff. Especially Courtney R. Made us feel so welcomed and helped us with any questions we had. Would recommend this hotel to any guests looking fit 5 star hotel and service. Was able to check in early and check out late with the Amex perks as well

They might scam you with charges. Be aware.
I've been charged with items that I have not used. There is no one available to address the issue over the phone. This must be a scam. I urge everyone to thoroughly review the charges they make after checkout. The stay and room are good but I did not like the charges post my visit.

Great stay, Nina was great!
I had an excellent stay at the Royalton Park Avenue a few weeks ago. The room was spacious and well equipped and the location was great. The staff in general was very friendly but I want to give a special shoutout to Nina at the reception. She was extremely nice, handled everything I needed, and communicated in a professional yet very warm manner. Really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back because of Nina!
