About the Hotel

For decades newlyweds and romantics have flocked to Niagara Falls for memorable getaways. These days they are sequestering themselves behind the doors of the Sterling Inn & Spa, the only boutique hotel to grace this epic region. Built in 1928 and once the home to Bordens Dairy, it was eventually converted into a nightclub and restaurant during the 1980s, and is now part of the Preferred Boutique portfolio and part of the Preferred Hotel Group. Its transition into a hotel started in 2005 with original architectural elements, such as the exposed ceiling beams and three-story milk-bottle entrance, incorporated into the new design. The result is a hybrid hotel combining the best of a luxury resort with the intimacy of a fine inn. Rooms tend to be spacious and thoughtfully appointed with oversize beds, roaring fireplaces, wet bars, and ample-size bathrooms equipped with raining shower heads and body jets. Suites offer not one, but two rooms with sitting areas and plush bedrooms.

Sterling Inn and Spa was just perfect!! It is conveniently located walking distance from the falls and it's activities. There are lots of food options right on the street outside as well as their onsight restaurant. Oh and they delivered breakfast to my room all included in the price! There was parking on site. The lobby and room was spotless. The room was quite large and gave me that luxurious feel. The spa was top notch and the massage and facial was very good. It will be my go to spot when I need a break to relax!

Had a reunion visit with a bestie and we were loving the excellent friendly service from front desk reception (Dave ) to Fallon serving us a beautiful Dinner. Wine and Dine package is lovely and breakfast in bed was top notch. Steam shower for the win. Highly recommend . Thanks Stirling

Had a wonderful stay for our anniversary. Made fantastic use of the Wine and Dine package which was incredible value. Breakfast in bed was available 7am>10am. We agree with other reviewers that the bed was very firm and the hard boiled eggs were less than desired BUT the breakfast quiche was delish and the room was awesome. Loved the fireplace and the coffee bar in the lobby. Service was fantastic and we will definitely return for another special occasion. Best deal and experience in Niagara!

This is our go to getaway from the City of Toronto. We come at least 2 to 3 times per year. Anniversary, birthdays! Comfort and service at its finest. Not to mention the outstanding restaurant AG ! We only wish that room service was offered during the day, so we dont have to leave our room.
