About the Hotel
Hotel Continental Oslo is a graceful Victorian era hotel that is family-run, gorgeously designed, and overlooks Palace Park. The hotel is a mix of contemporary and classic decor and the rooms and suites are all individually designed with pristine bathrooms. The accommodations are spacious and bright, some with beautiful wooden floors, silk bedding, city views and terraces with views of the fjord. The Theatercaféen is an absolute must and it remains one of the places to see with its Vienna coffee house décor. Portraits of renowned past and present patrons adorn the walls, and the menu is based on the best seasonal ingredients. Staff are friendly and relaxed, and there is a pleasant bar.

Everything was great; centrally located
Everything was perfect for my three-night stay. The check-in process was smooth, efficient and the front-desk woman was very kind and helpful. The bar service was terrific. Good conversation with patrons, a terrific Pilsner on tap. The room was ideal. It was comfortably warm, and the bed was very relaxing. I had 9-hour sleeps twice, which never happens. The is a credit to the wonderful bed. It was also very quiet and peaceful here. And, it was centrally located to museums and night life. Check out process, very early in the morning, was smooth, and they offered to secure a taxi for me. Great stay.

Hotel Continental is wonderful!
We stayed at the Hotel Continental this past weekend. Everything was wonderful! The front desk staff were so kind and helpful. This was our first trip to Oslo and we really appreciated their recommendations for places to see and things to do. Breakfast was great - lots of tasty choices. The best part? Our beautiful room, cozy bed and roomy bath. When we come back next year, we will definitely stay at the Hotel Continental again. Thank you!

Lovely stay in central Oslo
Loved staying at this charming hotel. The location is great, with all the major sites either close by or very walkable. Our room on the 6th floor was cozy, the bedding was very comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. We also enjoyed a drink and lunch at Bar Bomen, which was very good. We would definitely stay here again.

Gem in the heart of Oslo
Extra large room (especially for Europe). Staff went above and beyond to help us find our luggage that the airline lost. Love how close it is to Karl Johan Gate, castle and Aker Brygge - all my favorite places. Easy access from train (important when you are rolling your suitcase). Beautiful interior.

Comfortable stay
Very comfortable stay . Lovely hotel with good facilities. Nice comfortable room. Very central. Friendly staff. I would recommend this hotel both for business and pleasure. Possible to eat in the very famous Thestercafeen. An old very famous restaurant . Overall the best hotel in Oslo.
