We checked in to the Villas for a couple of weeks, it was bad. The condo was outdated, 2 of the 3 TVs did not work, furniture was old, not comfortable, and cock roaches in the kitchen. Wait staff in the restaurant at the golf course did not have a clue regarding customer service. Couldn’t get service at the pool. Not good. After all this, 4th and long, we punted and left early.

We are currently staying at this hotel. Originally we were only going to stay one night, but we loved it so much we booked an extra night! The property is beautiful and serene. I can see how some of the other reviewer‘s might say it’s outdated, but I’m not sure I agree. I prefer to think of it as Old Florida, it’s classic and comfortable. Everywhere we have gone from the front desk to the sushi restaurant and late night drinks, staff has provided excellent customer service, always very friendly and helpful. Shout out to Pedro and Texas! Highly recommend this resort!

We were not thrilled by the greeting we got as we drove up, we were told you can get valet parking $25 usd per day or self park. However, with self park you cannot get a luggage cart - what ? We had to bring our golf clubs and bags of groceries up to our room ourselves, we are not young but we’re surprised by this. I mentioned this to the receptionist who told us this was not true- I was annoyed to say the least. We have a one bedroom with a kitchenette- came with NO pots, no pans, no toaster and nothing with cook with, I called and got what sounded to be an irritated person who said she’d send some up, when I asked for a kettle she said I could use a pot - I laughed and told her that this was not cool. When I got the pots and pans - I had to unwrap them from the brand new boxes - weird! There are no tea towels- no paper towels. The resort is 50% occupied - I asked, and we are in the most out dated unit. I do feel a bit put off by this. Bathroom is big and lovely Bed is comfy Daily house keeping is nice Two tvs Towels are thick Nowhere to hang a we bathing suit - no line in bathroom Small balcony Service staff are great! Friendly The place is huge and we are here to golf - courses are great and the course staff are super friendly

I recently stayed at this older hotel in need of major updating. I was charged 2.5% for paying for my hotel stay with a credit card. This was not on the website when I booked the reservation. When you arrive, they have a small sign telling you this. It doesn’t seem to be fair that if they accept credit cards, then they should accept the fact that there is a fee that they are supposed to pay. Passing it on to the consumer seems very unprofessional. My only thought is that they are in desperate need of money, especially based on the condition of the property. The personal were very friendly and they were all very helpful except with removing the credit card fee. The restaurant staff was very friendly and the food was good. The room is dated and towels are very old and scratchy , the heating/AC system is in the closet in the bedroom, which goes off all night long. The furnishings are dated. Even the rug in front of your room is very old and dirty. At one of the entrances leading to the open space there are tiles that are loose and covered up with rugs. The golf course is extremely expensive at $300 per round . It is not a five star golf course. I would not stay here again because of the condition of the property, the heating /AC system being in the bedroom. But mainly, I will not stay here because they charge a fee to use a credit card. This is the first time I’ve ever run into this in all my times of travel which are many. I just found it quite surprising. They would charge this fee and supposedly them being a high end resort. I did speak to the front desk manager, she never got back to me. I then also called again and no one returned my call on this issue. I will assume they really don’t care about satisfying their customers or dealing with customer issues. All in all, I am very disappointed. I had been saving up for quite some time to stay at this higher priced resort and found out it just wasn’t worth it. I wish I had read some of the reviews on Yelp and TripAdvisor closer before I had booked the reservation because based on the lower star reviews, I would have not stayed at this place.

We love staying at Hammock, the employees are super friendly, the spa is wonderful , get the hammock special you will not be sorry, also had a great facial, they do a perfect job of pampering .On sight restaurants are great, the pool area has adults only side and a great family friendly area. Play golf, spend the day on the beach or just relax in one of the pools
