Omni First Visit

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

First time and hopefully not the last! Had a great experience, plenty of staff, everything in working order and easy to navigate even for such a large property. The paths were in fantastic shape and made for nice walks. Pool was at perfect temperature, pickleball courts and staff provided a great experience for myself as a first-time player. Food was great and everywhere we went, very clean and maintained.

Aging, with poor service.

Aging hotel with many rooms that are a quarter-mile walk from the lobby. Housekeeping service was spotty, at best, with yellowed towels and multi-use toiletry bottles (e.g., lotion, shampoo.) My one tiny bar of soap was not replenished across 4 nights and i kept moving it from the sink to the shower. There is no complementary coffee service in the morning - and during my stay no one seemed to know exactly what days and times the restaurants were open. The pools and landscaping were beautiful, though I didn’t have time to try the pools. On-site restaurant had good service as did the coffee bar.

Everybody from the staff was excellent and everything we did at the resort was wonderful, from the food to the spa to the work out room and the pool! We came for my bday and it was one of the best ever! I highly recommend staying here! My family & I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

Hotel Service was so so on day 1 of 2. Make sure all credits are shown on the bill when checking out.

When I arrived and checked in my room on day 1, wasted tissue was found on the floor, hairs and dirts were on the beds. The room service lady was right at next room so we requested her to do a quick cleanup at our room. To our disappointed, she left without doing anything; we had to call to the front desk and a room service supervisor came to verify the issues and did the cleanup and beddings replacement by herself. I booked this hotel thru The Hotel Collection under Amex which offer $100 credits for boutique, spa, cafe, BluEmber, Pool Food + 2 daily free breakfast at BluEmber $30 per person for 2 days stays totaling $120 (= $30x2personsx2 day). However, it turned out they’ve only deducted $89 so we asked Maria in the Front Desk Dept why and was told their system is not updated the same day; the credit would be posted later. I have texted and spoke with Maria a few times to follow up but they haven’t fully honored the Hotel Collection Credit as yet , even all charge receipts from BluEmber and the pool food and drink as well as the letter about the aforesaid Hotel Collection credit $220 signed by Jazmine DeLeon, Assistant Front Office Manager of Omni Rancho Las Palmas are provided.

Good……but could be great!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

The resort is big and kid friendly. The king bed is super comfortable too. But there are several things that could be improved: Water - despite asking for more than two bottles of water daily, we couldn’t seem to get more. Food - too expensive - you are better off walking across the street for cheaper eats. Maintenance - our door screen needed attention so after sitting on the patio we left it open so we wouldn’t break it. But each day, housekeeping shut it. We wondered why they didn’t send someone to fix it! Also, if you come to the hotel at night like we did, it is VERY difficult to see the building numbers. Better lighting would do a lot to help see at night. Golf - connected…….but not connected to the property. We wanted to play a second day, but it took multiple calls, visits, etc. to book a tee time. The concierge was never at the desk when you needed it, and there were no hours posted as to when they would be there, only a sign to see the front desk/reception, who couldn’t answer any questions we had. The pro shop closes around 1 PM, so a visit there didn’t help.
