Consistently named one of the top hotels in Central America since its opening in 2011, Trump International Hotel & Tower Panama is an unmistakable part of Panama City’s waterfront. There’s a better way to enjoy its unique curved architecture than from the outside, however: Book a 17th floor Suite on the Curve, and scope a fishbowl view of the city and ocean from floor-to-ceiling windows and a private balcony. Décor in the hotel is bright and fun, with a decidedly Latin American flair, and its location just off Corredor Sur makes it convenient to anywhere in Panama City.

Our stay at the JW Marriott was fantastic. From the moment we arrived we were treated like family. The accommodations were lovely and the amenities were great. The best part of our stay was the super staff. Ms. Elisa was so attentive and kind. She arranged for a special birthday celebration for my husband that simply made his day! She noticed that I enjoyed the rice so she had the chef whip up a special dish for me. The next day she even brought me a box of the flavor seasonings to take home! How great is that! If you are looking for a place to stay when you visit Panama, look no further. You've found your place here.

Beautiful pool and Amelio was the best server! We enjoyed mornings by the pool drinking the most delicious coffee. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating. The facilities are beautiful. We’ll be back some day.

We cut short our stay because of poor service: Upon check in, I noticed little things which ought to be taken care of by the hotel to make our stay either make or break. (1) the table clock is at 6 pm when it is supposed to be 9 pm. Little things matter. I adjusted the time accordingly. (2) there are no room slippers until I called for them. These should have been taken care of without having the guests ask for them. Little things matter. (3) Being a Titanium member, I am given complementary breakfast ONLY in the Executive Lounge but I would have to pay for breakfast if I were to eat at other restaurants serving breakfast, a practice which is never done in all my previous stays with the Marriott. (4) The food in the Executive Lounge is less than ideal, all western items without any Panamanian selections. (5)There are too many elevators in the hotel that are just simply confusing. From the entrance to the hotel, I have to take an elevator to the SL (whatever that means) floor for check in and then another set of elevators to get to my room. (6) phone calls from the room to the receptionist are seldom answered. (7) the layout for the sea view room is unusually funny with a tub taking a major space in the room. (8) many of the staff don’t speak or understand English adequately enough to serve the guests. (9) Having said the above, there are 3 staff members worthy of commendation for their kindness and effort in trying their best to please within the constraints of the hotel policy: Ingrid and Gustavo at the front desk and Jose Axel.

I recently traveled to Panama City, Panama with the love of my life. We felt so welcome from the moment we arrived at the JW Marriott. Clean and comfortable with friendly and thoughtful staff. This was just the initial impression. Over our stay, we grew to love the friends we made at the Trump Tower. Our room staff, Yajaira and Omaira were so thorough and caring. They went so far as to leave sweet notes and little gifts for us throughout our stay. The people at Masi were so wonderful and quickly became our friends that we couldn’t help but visit frequently. Michelle, Luis, and Julian were exceptional in their customer service. So much so that we felt like such good friends and were sad to leave them to go home. We are so very grateful for the experiences of culture and hospitality and will look back fondly on our time spent in this beautiful city with our new found friends.
