Three garden terraces turn the Hotel du Collectionneur into an oasis just north of the Champs-Elysees. The hotel's glamorous Art Deco style is inspired by transatlantic cruise liners of the 1930s – green marble, antiques and elaborate period prints adorn the hallways, and top floor rooms have small balconies from which to behold the city below. Sip on absinthe in an alcove at the glitzy Purple Bar, watching life go by on Rue de Courcelles.

We stayed 5 days during new year period. The hotel was really full and you could see some services were struggling to cope (breakfast in the morning was very crowded) and we had to ask multiple times for blankets and other minor things which was a bit annoying. However, the overall experience was positive. The room was quiet and very clean. The staff very friendly. Not perfect but a good stay.

Beautiful hotel, we arrived at check in time (4pm) so it was busy but we were quickly checked in. We arrived to our room and everything was perfect room is clean, great size, coffee machine and water was available for all 3 of us for the duration of our stay. We had room service on the first night with it being New Year’s Eve and it being busy out, food was delivered quite quickly considering how busy the night was. Location for us was great. Breakfast was busy but food was lovely and plenty of choices. We will be back!

It is always the same story: if you are accustomed to 5 star standards worldwide and you expect the same level of services and attention to details you will be disappointed. Rooms are well below a 5 star level, with a sink in your room and a bath tub instead of walk in shower that comes straight from the 80’s… Another french thing: do not expect the minibar to be filled. You will find it empty unless you ask for it. Room service was poor quality, club sandwiches were barely eatable. The only 5 star aspect of it is the price, but like I said it is pretty common to be disappointed by hotel quality in france

Apriyanti and Gayan are very helping me and my family while we were staying in Paris. They are warm, nice and kind. During the busy breakfast time, Apriyanti always greed me and the family in my table, while Gayan assisted my family a lot in getting the table and queuing for the foods.
