I used to live in Paris and I’ve always thought this was the loveliest hotel so I was excited to take my daughters to La Galerie for afternoon tea. It took about 40 minutes to even get water. Waiters ignored us and wouldn’t make eye contact. The sandwich was large and soggy- I prefer an array of smaller sandwiches. The pastries were delicious but HUGE. Again, I would have preferred an assortment of smaller pastries. I can’t imagine who could eat 6 pastries of this size. We also weren’t given plates or utensils so it was hard to eat the giant pasties off the large, asymmetrical tower and even harder to get a waiters attention to get plates and utensils. It just wasn’t the gracious experience it could have been. The harpest was a nice addition and the room itself was lovely, but we were happy to get out of there and I wouldn’t plan to go back.

We enjoyed a cocktail there at the bar in the evening. Beautiful hotel with lots of decoration for Christmas ! I found that for such a standard the environment wasn’t as clean and lean as I would have expected I would say. But lots of people were there to make sure we would be happy.

I just love this hotel. It's everything you could ask for in Paris. I could gush on for ages and ages, but you'd get even bored of reading my thoughts about the place—spoiler alert, it's almost faultless. Pros: Location The staff are amazing. Professional, helpful and seemed proud of their hotel. The rooms are beautifully appointed and freshly refurbed. The dining room is stunning. The courtyard had an ice rink when we were there recently. Amazing. The food was on point. Cons: This is a little petty but the bar has seen better days, I'm sure it must be next for a refurb. It still had a great atmosphere though. If you fancy a Paris break and you want to be in the heart of all the best shopping, you can't go wrong. I can't wait to go back.

As a frequent business traveler, I've seen my fair share of hotels, but this one stands out. The workspace in the room was actually usable, the WiFi was lightning-fast, and the business center was well-equipped. What really impressed me was how the staff anticipated needs before they arose. The breakfast buffet was extensive and fresh, perfect for early starts.

Really beautiful!! Everybody was very polite and kind. One of the best locations- very central. Very thoughtful and caring with the children- had every day something for them, which added a little extra smile! Has nice restaurants and the most spectacular view of the Eiffel Tower. What more could one ask for!
