Beautiful, très chic Paris is in fine form at Les Jardins du Marais. Behind an unassuming façade on Rue Amelot in Marais, this Summit Hotels & Resorts property, part of the Preferred Hotel Group, adds a contemporary edge to 1930s glamour in rooms outfitted with plush purple carpeting and Macassar ebony furniture. Sunlight floods the lobby and restaurant through a glass roof, and blossoming flowers are everywhere. Nine renovated, historic buildings comprise the hotel – one used to house Gustave Eiffel’s workshop.

We were not sure about this hotel at first as the lobby was just ok. But we ended up loving it. Our room for 3 was spacious with a large bathroom and a great coffee maker. The best was the breakfast. Absolutely delicious food. A great assortment of fresh pastries and hot food and all kinds of cold cuts and cheeses. The location was great. There is a lovely courtyard and everything was super clean.

Husband & I visited Paris with Globus Tours in mid SEPT 2024. Stayed at the Les Jardins Du Marais and were pleased with this comfortable experience. Rooms were lovely with operable windows and location is in the Marais accessible to many activities and shopping but retaining a neighborhood feel. The breakfast buffet was pretty hectic & chaotic but the food was very good. Hotel staff was lovely & spoke English well.

Wonderful location. Easy to get around neighborhood and one street off of main road. Desk staff very friendly and attentive. Breakfast buffet excellent. Rooms very comfortable and clean. Love the garden area inside the complex; so relaxing and refreshing. Will definitely stay there again!!

We stayed here for 3 nights Thursday to Sunday through a holiday with Eurostar. The location is excellent in the Marais district hence why it receives 3 stars from me. Unfortunately it doesn't score well on any other basis. We had no hot water on the second evening and were unable to shower before going out in the evening. We had to boil bottled water in order to wash. We again had no hot water on the third morning and could not shower once again. We received no apology from staff or given any alternative. The water did return mid-morning but this meant we were late for a pre-booked trip. The breakfast was at best basic and in no way could this hotel be classed as 4 star. The staff were the least friendly I have experienced and unsurprisingly no one asked if we had enjoyed our stay when we left! The hotel appears to concentrate on group bookings with lots of meeting rooms which always seemed to be in use. I definitely wouldn't return here.

Horrible experience. Came with a group woth reservations made moths in advance but they seemed surprised we came in! Lobby furniture is worn horribly outdated amd dirty-nothing as pictured. Did not take care with luggage. Door keys didnt work. Rooms smelled horribly like smoke-clearly tried to cover it up with heavy perfume. We had to keep the window open in the weather. They offered another room but after dealing with their lack of service and walking back and forth, simply gave up. Run from this place.
