The vast mansion which now houses the Relais Christine was built on the remains of the Abbey of the Grands-Augustins, founded in 1231. This delightful and discreetly luxurious boutique hotel has managed to preserve the intimacy of the private residence it once was.

Wonderful small hotel located ion a great neighbourhood, close to all the sights. Beautiful rooms, may need touch ups here and there, but luxurious with superb beds. Staff was extremely helpful and kind.

Relais Christine is a beautifully appointed hotel in great Parisian style. The public rooms and guest rooms are very beautiful. Breakfast is outstanding. The staff are friendly and very helpful.

My wife and I have stayed in many hotels in Paris over the years, but Relais Christine is at the top of the list (together with Le Bristol, which is 3x the cost). The property is beautiful and well maintained, and it is located in one of the most interesting and diverse arrondissements of Paris. Our room was well decorated and superbly quiet and comfortable - in particular, the sheets and pillows were luxurious. The front desk staff could not have been more friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations and general info. When we arrived, the room wasn't ready so the concierge made a reservation for lunch for us at Chez Fernand, just down the street, where we had an excellent lunch. We look forward to visiting Relais Christine again next year.

The appearance and comfort level of Relais Christine cannot be overstated. The property is a study in the perfection of hospitality. From the full service front desk to the room attendants and wait staff there is nothing left wanting. The location in the Saint Germain district is wonderfully quiet despite being in the heart of all the best that Paris has to offer from the brasseries to the museums, from the Seine to the Eiffel Tower. In every compass directions there's a destination waiting to be discovered outside the entrance to Relais Christine. And if you need a break from the city's pace, there's even a cinema across the street.
