Convenient. Great view from our room. This place definitely needs updating to say the least. No toilet paper holder in our bathroom. Bugs in flatware drawer in the kitchenette. Murphy bed was sketchy. The actual bedroom area was clean and tidy. The lights outside of the room are a serious issue while trying to sleep. So bright shining through the drapes. Like it's noon. Bring eye masks.

Terrible Experience! Checked in the Day before Thanksgiving. The room ahd not been updated since it was originally built is what it looked like. Very worn and cheaply furnished, but thought , we would stick it out because we were tired from traveling, Next morning asked to change rooms and the new room was better, but not great, and like the previous room, it needed updating. Went to the restaurant and the had the breakfast that was part of our room package. The waitress, Carol was pleasant and very accommodating , even giving a hug when we left. The next day, we were the last ones in the restaurant before they were going to stop serving. The restaurant was full of people and they did not want us to eat there. The waitress Carol, and her boss Diane, we downright nasty and rude, and when we asked nicely if we could eat quickly , they we disgusted and unhappy and made it clear we were not welcome. Eventually, Carol the waitress that had been so nice the previous day, threatened to call the police because she was being sexually harassed which is really interesting because she had touched and hugged the previous day. Both Carol and Diane were rude and very angry and we could tell , as could the rest of the patrons of the restaurant t, that they did not want to be there, were unhappy because they were being made to work on the Holiday weekend. When the manager on site was made aware of the issue, he offered is apologies, and that was it. When the food and beverage manager heard about it, he called, said he was sorry and offered a refund of two breakfasts. In short, it's an worn down place with rude wait staff and wait staff manager. Very much do not recommend and urge avoidance.

We reserved rooms for a baseball tournament in the area. Part of the agreement was if the tournament gets canceled/moved we can cancel our reservations. Tournament got moved and it took all day talking to multiple people to get reservations cancelled. Miserable customer service.

I am giving 3 stars simply because the condo in lakeside was lovely! Very clean, nicely decorated and large kitchen. Only complaint for the unit 68A is the shower head in the main bathroom downstairs is weak and the king bed upstairs needs a new mattress. Now as for as the resort, pool was closed by HOA and never opened. Was told to use Summer House pool. It was dirty, lazy river not working and kids area broken for most of our stay. We were not allowed to use any other pools in the resort., except for the indoor pool. Resort over all needs to make many repairs and doesn’t seem to be in a hurry to get things done. We had made this reservation months ago, however we too came down after hurricane Helene expecting a better experience.

So awful. Coming to escape hurricane Helene. No soap, conditioner or lotion. I was told to pickup at front desk Got here at 3... made us wait until 4. Then get a shoddy room Wish I had booked any where else. I had soap at home and shampoo. For $800 they could afford soup for the shower Worst hurricane ever and get treated like dirt shame on them.

"The four nights we spent at the Litchfield Plantation in Pauley's Island, S.C. were wonderful! We had unique accommodations on beautiful grounds in a very special and historical area, and received warm greetings, beautiful accommodations, and delicious meals."

“We took our trip to Litchfield Plantation May 4th through May 9th and had a fabulous time. The Plantation is beautiful! We stayed in a villa complete with jacuzzi and hot tub and had the whole place to ourselves! The food at the Carriage House was wonderful and we enjoyed every meal. The staff at the restaurant were very attentive, especially the Manager, Greg. We spent a few hours at the gorgeous, enormous pool and several days at the Beach House (beautiful beach).
Thank you, Luxury Link.”

My mother and I were at Litchfield Plantation during May, 2004. It was the loveliest place we have ever stayed, with wonderful accommodations, excellent service, and unbelievable food! I highly recommend Litchfield Plantation for a fabulous getaway.
